Highschool basketball is on the rise setting record numbers in Canadians playing in NCAA D1 basketball and soon to be in the NBA. Highschool is the starting point for these ballers. Right now there are over 80 Canadian players playing in US prep schools. This thread will be to track their progress at home and away from home.

I think you are being too generous with the Bhullar's rankings. I hope for our sake that they aren't our top prospects in those years. I am basing this off what I read on American college message boards and the rankings that scout, rivals and ESPN give some of those other players.

I am embarrased to say I did not know Bennett was playing with Kabongo. Hopefully it gives him some exposure and he can improve his game playing with and against a lot of good players.

I should say thanks for the thread too, but I really disagree on the bhullars

I don't handle the rankings. They are based off of how the players will do at the next level meaning in College the Bhullars will fair better then the other guys. They still got some time to develop and get in the gym so if they are able to do that they will be very hard to guard. Plus college is more so about match-ups, and having a 7'4" or 7'2" monster on the floor will cause havoc for defenses.
BTW here is the official Kevin Pangos mixtape vol.1

Wiljters been ranked anywhere from 10-25 in the past year so he could make it too. And to think we thought having just 2 guys last year was huge. Looks like it'll slow down for a couple years after this season though.
But again, olu famutimi was a top 10 high schooler too

I would be stunned if Birch and Kabongo were not selected. The fact that Wiljter is going to Kentucky should help his case too.

Hey guys...sorry we had some technical difficulties with our Kevin Pangos highlight reel...but it's back ONLINE now at
http://www.crownmagonline.com.
We will also be putting up a Leon Alexander highlight reel(J Clarke Richardson SF) and Kevin Pangos' EXCLUSIVE post-game interview where I chatted to him about his 48pt outburst against Vaughan in the finals! You don't wanna miss that...Super Kid...with Super game!
Video evidence from Sunday's stellar performance at the 51st Annual St. Mike's Invitational by tournament MVP Kevin Pangos on the site.
Vaughan took the chip as they possess a phenomenally talented and deep squad led by Andrew Wiggins, Henry Tan, Troy Reid-Knight and Roshane Roberts!
Wiggins, scored 28 points in the final and was named a Tournament All-Star along with teammate Henry Tan. Reid-Knight and Roberts drained several long range bombs and scored on drives as well to pace the champs!
Kevin Pangos' Denison squad plays within a system that allows them to compete with the big dogs. Pangos, like a coach on the floor, directs his squad and willed them to a finals birth at the tourney. Brett Zufelt was also named an All-Star as well and Denison was aided inside by wiry Brayden Gohn.
We will have more highlight reels/mixtapes from the tournament up on the site shortly!
Enjoy
Peace
Drew Ebanks
p.s. I want to thank REAL GM for making a Canadian H.S. Basketball thread. Matt great job on keeping the people updated on the burgeoning H.S. talent coming out of Canuck land!

Pangos is currently playing on Rogers TV (channel 10) against Jarvis high school. This is a replay of the game from the St. Michael's tournament. Hopefully they taped the game against Vaughn and Andrew Wiggins.
