Poll: Knight or Walker? How Separated Is The Board?

Both these bandwagon threads got me wondering how much of the board is actually on either side. There's a lot of arguing for the other in each thread so mods I hope you don't think this is overkill. I just was curious to see the actual separation.

Knight +
- defensive potential
- younger
- size at PG
- Shot

Walker +
- Speed,Quickness
- Experience,Leadership
- Shot

So both of them are on the board at #5. You select who? Vote for one. I really want to see how one sided or even this debate is.

I don't think you can go wrong with either and id be happy to have either one but my vote goes to Knight because of the defensive potential he possesses at that spot. Whens the last time we had a lockdown defensive PG and I think him + Bayless can play together

I like Knight for pretty much all the reasons you listed. Kemba might be more offensively superior for the moment but Knight has a higher ceiling. Although that Leadership would be a welcome addition. Seriously.

I like both but right now I'm with Knight. (Pause)

Want nothing nothing nothing nothing to do with Walker.

I hope some GM is enamored with Walker. At 5, I'd be happy to settle for a Jamal Crawford type.

Apparently the Jazz Coach wants someone with college experience and Utah might get D.Williams depending what MIN does

I'd select Kanter or Kwahi Leonard.

Selecting Knight or Walker is redundant when you already have Bayless. If Numero Ocho is going to be traded, then I wouldn;t mind Kemba.

If it's between these two, I'll take Brandon Knight.

Knight is younger, and came into college with a lot of potential. Rivals had Knight as the #1 prospect in his class for a long time actually before college.

He may not have all the PG skills, but he can develop them. Keep in mind that this guy had a 4.0 GPA and apparently was the hardest worker on the Kentucky team. Coach Cal even said his work ethic was better than Rose, Wall, and Evans....pretty good company. Knight was a very good defender in college, and a very good shooter. He still has a lot of potential.

I am not sure about Walker. He might actually turn out pretty good because he plays with so much heart, but I don't know if his skills and his size will translate. He's an undersized SG. And by undersized, I mean barely 6 feet.

Right now though, I'm not sure I even take one of these. I might be interested in Biyombo more, or maybe dealing this pick for Utah's #3 if Utah wants to take Knight and we like Kanter.

I dont even remember what good defence from the point looks like in a Raptors uniform. Then again, I dont remember what it looks like on the wing, nor the paint either :(

Every time I watched Knight in college, it seemed like he was just chucking the ball. From the few times I watched him, he seemed awful at getting in the paint and creating for others. Not sure how I feel about Walker at this point. His size could be an issue in a future league dominated by big, athletic guards like Rose, Wall, Westbrook, D. Williams etc. With the exception of Kyrie, I don't think any point guard in this draft is an upgrade to Bayless. Guys need to keep in mind that Bayless is only 22.

Jose and Bayless aren't the future at the point.

I like the two quite a bit... Still not sure who I'd take if/when both are available.

Brandon Knight, hands down.

He's younger, has more potential, better size, and I also like the fact that he played under coach Cal.

Kemba has shown some pg skills at the least. I haven't seen it from Knight.

Neither is Knight or Walker. I'd rather we swing for the fences with someone like Biyombo. If his age checks out, I don't see how you pass on a guy that dominated some of the best players in next year's draft.

I still prefer taking one of the bigs right now, (I'm not a fan of inefficient scoring) but between these two I think I'd give the edge to Walker, who was more productive and has elite speed and better ballhandling ability.
