The Jonas Valanciunas Bandwagon Thread

Jonas Valanciunas is ahead of Enes Kanter on both Cleveland and Toronto's boards according to reports and has huge fans in Detroit's front office as well.

Also Kanter denied an interview with Utah/Toronto/Milwaukee.... but has scheduled a workout with Utah later. Which could possibly mean Toronto and Milwaukee might have a chance,"if", they want ofcourse. I have no idea why he would cancel interviews and then do workout for the same teams though :-?

Im hoping Kanter screws up the workout and Washington passes on him..... The teams he rejected will likely pass on him too.... and Cleveand dosent seem to prefer him anyway..... He could really screw this up :evil:

If Kanter has a bad workout in Washington. I can see him falling quite a bit in this draft. I really don't think Cleveland takes him at 4.

Both Val and Biyombo look like better prospects than Kanter. I'm personally liking Biyombo at this point with our pick. I think he'll be the best big out of this draft.

Isn't Enes the number one prospect in this draft?

That's what Calipari said.

He will either be taken by Utah at 3rd but if they pass.... he will fall to 6th with Washinton, but if they pass...... uh-oh :lol:

See the Valanciunas bandwagon thread where it was posted this morning.

It's a Jonathan Givony article for Yahoo.

Pray that Jonas really impresses the Cavs and they nab him at #4

he's actually not a bad prospect and would be a perfect fit as the new bigman, "If" he pans out ofcourse....... but yeh, I prefer Bismak/Walker/Knight over him

I'm surprised with his apparent contract issues.

val omg.. hes a guy with beans upside which will take 3+ years, you don't use a 5th pick regardless of how **** a draft is.

bargnani has already put alot of people on this board in suicidal watch and I can't imagine what will happen if jonas is landed to the raptors. Raptors' realgm board "judgement day" will happen if he arrives.

I actually wouldn't mind if they picked him. He looks like he has a really good motor and he's a lot more athletic than those U-18 highlights indicate.

!. If you haven't learned by now, all drafts aren't equal, so you can't apply a firm rule. If upside means waiting longer, you do it. What if we had taken Andrew Bynum instead of Charlie Villaneuva. A whole lot would have come out differently.

2. Valanciunas is Beans ++++

3. And yes, teams draft projects at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and up
