it took us until the day before the draft to hit 1000 pages with our draft thread. With a 4 month head start and a likely lockout, I wonder how long it will take this year.

Hello Raptor fans! I'm an outsider, but I just had to say Quincy Miller is the man!
He tore his ACL last year, but he said that it was the best thing that ever happened to him. He said he didn't use to work very hard, but now, he has a new outlook on the game and says that he's been working very hard since, and he knows that people are gonna sleep on him because he's been out so long.
This was his first game back from injury. It was posted on BALLISLIFE on May 31st.
http://www.ballislife.com/video/qtv-epi ... ncy-millerHe said he's gained 20 lbs, and his body looks good. His game looks good too.

Just curious question, why isn't Tony Wroten listed in Draftexpress? He looked pretty decent at the Hoops Summit, I'm sure he would be one of the top PG's available for the 2012 draft as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Barnes was never expected to go # 1 even if he did declare this year, right?

http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Har ... t-history/Not exact, but draftexpress had him number 1 prior to last year.

DX had Barnes at #1 until December last year where he dropped to #3, then #8-9 in January, #11 in February, and then finally back up to #4 from March until he dropped out of the draft.

I suspect Minny would have taken him at #2. Almost no chance Utah passes at #3. In the end it turned out well for us with him not declaring. I had Barnes ranked as the top prospect in April so it's nice to still have a shot at him next year.

Quincy Miller please!
OT: which 2012 draft duo u would like to have if Ed is gone?

This is a scenario so it's not real. However, we have holes in the SF and PG spot. If we tank for a top 5 pick and Ed is traded for another 2012 pick (on the draft day), which duo would you draft?
Mine is Barnes and Kabongo.
Barnes - SF who can shoot 3's, defend and has star potential (if his handles and slashing ability improves)
Kabongo - Toronto native, a speedy pass-first guard who also plays solid defense.
My lineup:
C. Jonas
PF. Andrea
SF. HB
SG. Demar
PG. Kabongo
How about you?

This is exactly mine.
If Barnes isn't available, then Gilchrist or Miller would be my second choice.

Why do you guys want Barnes so bad? He can't create his own shot while Miller and Gilchrist can.

But Barnes can shoot from the outside, where as Miller and Gilchrist, to this point, can't. Barnes is also very good defensively, although Gilchrist looks to be the one with the most potential, and ability, in that regard.
I do like the other two a great deal, I just think that, right now, Barnes fits on the Raptors the best.

My vote will depend entirely on how Bayless and Johnson play when the basketball season begins.

his shooting form is slightly better than before but i still hate this form it looks ugly, he definitely looks stronger but maybe coz this is just a pickup game in a gym coz from the look of it, he looks like he's less explosive than before. Maybe he's slowly coming back to the explosive form soon...either way, I definitely wouldn't mind having him in the raps uniform.
