Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has moved above Barnes, he should be top 5 pick.

If we don't get a top 3 pick to land one of the star prospects, I hope we can figure out a way to grab a solid SF+PG combo in this draft without giving up any of our young players. Depending on how the standings play out, perhaps we could trade down with the Hornets for their pick+Minny's pick to grab two young talents (assuming that both picks are worse than ours).
Jonas/Amir
Bargs/Ed
(MKG/Barnes)/JJ
DeMar/Forbes
(Wroten/Kabongo)/Bayless
We don't land a definite star, but I think that's a very solid young team with a lot of potential at each position, with a few guys that could potentially develop into stars imo. Wroten and MKG are two guys who are close to being star level prospects, but need to improve in certain areas to make that jump to the next level as prospects (shooting for MKG, ability to run an offense as a PG for Wroten--and both need to cut down on turnovers). I think they both have the size, athleticism, ability to create with the ball, and competitive drive to be great players though.

It sucks because I think Kyrie Irving would look awesome for us in this draft.

Yep, repeating what I said in the last thread. MKG/PJ3/Wroten Jr are the three guys who have impressed me so far.

(in no specific order)
Barnes
PJ3
MKG
Davis
Drummond
get another pick and draft Kabongo
I'm still hoping to see a turnaround for Drummond, and show his dominance consistently (shows a better motor and understanding of the game), not just a monster game against a crappy Holy Cross but a 10+ points and 10 reb+ double double streak and occasional dominant 20 and 10 games. I'd prefer drafting a wing prospect but I still hope for a dominant Drummond and Val combo. Even a Davis too, he brings in the defense that could change our entire team. For Barnes, he'll bring in some solid scoring but I think he'll just be another Demar with better shooting touch minus the athleticism and slashing. I love what MKG brings to the table and he's going to a beast under Casey's implemented style of play for raptors. And I think there's hope for PJ3, if he can show he can play the 3 and I really hope to see PJ3 being the athletic version of Hedo for us (minus the attitude). He has a solid court vision for a man his size, and a capable ball handler. He'll be able to make Bayless's job feel easier if we can put the ball in PJ3's hands to create plays for us.

Raps frontcourt is crowded as is, so while I believe in taking best player available, I'm going to assume that Drummund, Davis and PJ3 go 1-3, and the raps are picking in the 4-6 range. The 3 guys I expect us to be looking at are Barnes, Lamb, and MKG.
If Derozan busts out as a legit scorer this year, then I'll be looking at MKG. If DD doesn't, I'll be looking at Jeremy Lamb. Barnes would be a nice consolation prize in either scenario...

whose in your top 3 wish list this year (not including the obvious Davis and Drummond) ?

Pretty much the same as this, although I'm still liking Beal a bit more than Lamb at this point.
To be fair, i've only seen Lamb about three times this year, but Beal's motor and athletic ability ( which I think he doesn't get nearly enough credit for ) has really impressed me each time i've seen him

I'm a fan of Beals talent for sure, but he's a pure SG through and through. Lamb is more of a wing, a guy who can play the 2 or the 3, and I think he would fit better beside DD. Though if Beal proves to be BPA, and Derozan bulks up some, I'd be fine with Beal, and having DD play the 3.

PJ3 - Barnes - Lamb are the players I wan't with our pick, and I want Tony Wroten Jr with the 2nd pick.

I'm also a fan of Beal too, I would say trade DD for another pick (MKG).

None of the big-name SFs are impressing me so far this year. Davis and Drummond, on the other hand, are increasingly looking really good. I fear we might have to pick forget our needs and pick redundant players ... and hope to trade and sort things out later.

No Way.
Derozan's upside is just as high as Beal or Lamb and has proven to be a decent 2 at the very least.
Draft MKG (assuming the AD's are not available) and trade a surplus big for a pg.
If we luck out and get an AD then trade the surplus big for a SF/PG

Myck Kabongo has been playing really well lately and he'd be a good pick just outside the lottery. The only knock against him is that his athleticism is a notch below the average nba PG. I know its not really an indicator of success at the PG position but it concerns me that he's 6'1-6'2 with long arms yet he can barely dunk.
Harrison Barnes has been really disappointing considering this was supposed to be his year. Id rather take Davis, Drummond, Perry Jones, or Gilchrist over him at this point.
