As for the talks of a Toronto and Golden State swap for Curry I can't see it happening unless your talking Eddie Curry not Steph Curry.
There is no way we get them to agree to a three team deal like SweetCity stated in their idea is homerish to think we walk away with Henry/Biedrins/Curry all for Barbosa/Calderon/Amir Johnson and Ed Davis.
Toronto is left with a very good team after words and cap space to fill in the cracks just look at the DC
PG: Curry/Bayless or another PG
SG: DeRozan/Henry/Bayless or Weems
SF: Kidd-Gillchrist/James Johnson/Klezia
PF: Bargnani/FA signing
C: Jonas V/Biedrins/?
That has the making of a good team yes there are a lot of holes to fix but that team is too good to pass up on and if I am GSW Curry is the last player I move.
As for A_wildstabatanything deal no thank you to a DeRozan + Toronto 2013 1st for Curry I don't like it. DeRozan has shown he's got a nice 3 point shot now and is improving his game, I really like Curry but that is too much IMHO to give up for him. Unless we are drafting Lamb if both Anthony Davis and Drummond are both off the boards I don't do it sorry but I think DD is a top 5 under 26 years old SG in this league only young under 26 SG's I would swap him for are 1) Eric Gordon or 2) James Harden

Someone was mentioning trying to go after Batum in a deal centered around Davis and possibly Barbosa. I'd definitely be up for that.

I'm on the fence on this one, how about......
DeRozan + Davis for Harden + OKC 2012 first rounder
There is some logic for both teams and at this point I think Harden will always be the superior shooting guard. OKC gets depth and a talent injection in their frontcourt and DeRozan who could step into Harden's shoes. I think with more responsibility Harden would have the chance to become an all-star on our team.

Why is it that people are ready to give up on Davis who showed flashes last year to get Batum who has yet to show anything going in his 4th year. Talk about overrated.

It's still a bit early, but give Bargnani and Calderon a few more games, but if they keep it up, now might be a good time to sell high.
Here is my plan, tell me what you think:
Trade Bargnani, Calderon for :
Expiring contracts,
Top 5 pick for next year
Calderon makes 10.5mil next year
Bargnani makes 10 mil next year
Then tank the season, get a top 5 pick ourselves. So basically next year, we'll have a top 5 pick ourselves (since we're tanking), we'll have the top 5 pick we get from trading Bargnani, Calderon, AND we'll have Jonas.. ANDDD to top it off, we'll have 20.5mil (not exactly sure if this is how much we can spend after the lockout changes)
So to sum it up again, next year we'll have:
Two top 5 draft picks
Jonas
20.5mil to spend in free agency

we dont really need Chandler coming back. I mean if we plan on drafting a SF and having JJ on the team with Kleiza theres no need.
- Lawson + Anderson for Bayless + Davis
Lawson / Calderon
Derozan / SG
Gilchrist / Johnson
Bargnani / Johnson
Val / Anderson

We have no idea who we'll be drafting & we have no idea where we'll be drafting. Chandler is a nice young player & is a better option than both Kleiza/ Johnson.
Birdman is turning 34 this year. I don't think I'd trade Ed for him.

Why would Denver do that? Lawson has been amazing for them.

honestly, if we want a PG its most likely going to have to come via FA. Dj Augustin impressed me today i wouldnt mind him.

Mr Swagtastic, Id take a look at that trade again bud, Ed Davis, OJ Majo, Jose Calderon, is a pretty good hall for Steph Curry and dumping Biedrins contract.

I think now is the time for us to try to get Bledsoe and/or OJ Mayo since both players could have a lot of upside for a low cost and both teams are in need of a backup big right now

I have the same line of thinking as JunkYardSubs, except the guys I have in mind are unproven young guys who haven't had an opportunity to play much at all.
We need a third scorer right now to help DeMar and Andrea out. Preferably, somebody who can take advantage of the space being created by Andrea with dribble-drives and such. Now, I'm not suggesting a deal for a proven veteran or anything. I want somebody who's young, underutilized or buried on a good team, and at least has the capability of doing what I described.
Dominique Jones from Dallas, for example. Xavier Henry from Memphis (although he's out with an ankle injury, should be back soon). And even Elliot Williams from Portland. Each of these players are on teams are deep, or have veterans playing ahead of them in the rotation.
Of the three, I think we could get Dominique Jones for little in return. To me, Jones could be another Alvin Williams-lite player:
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Dom ... ones-5052/. For what it's worth, Givony seemed to love him the year he got drafted.
Yes, I'm looking at scrubs lol, but some of these guys just need a chance. Take Xavier Henry, for example - the dude was a HIGHLY touted high school recruit, but has barely played at all in the NBA due to injuries, vets ahead of him in the rotation, etc. Same thing applies to the aforementioned Jones and Williams.

I think we'd have to fork over a 1st rounder as well to be even close to being fair. Curry fills a serious need for them at the PG spot and has youth and potential on his side.
I'd love Curry on this team, but I don't see us as great trade partners with GSW.

I wouldn`t mind throwing in Ed Davis or 1st rounder just to get Stephen Curry ...

I agree with this 100%. This is the kind of stuff I want us doing now rather than collecting vet role players. I was thinking along the same lines but just with more obvious talents in Bledsoe (who I really really want since I think he can be very good) and Mayo who is either the worst or best basketball player in the world.
