Perry Jones: Just doesn't have that "it" factor. When battling inferior opponents, he has no problem going inside but against someone good, I find he takes a lot of jumpshots. He checks out mentally at times too. Takes a lot of shots. He should work on his post moves and boxing out because Baylor got destroyed on the glass this game
Quincy Miller: His handles seem to be overrated and his defense needs some work. But he can score when he wants to. To me it looks like he's consciously deciding play within the system. Not demanding the ball, not looking make things happen. I don't know if he just can't or if he has a genuine fear of the hook. I think he's scared of breaking out of the offense and getting pinned to the bench. He seems to have a good balance of knowing when to take it inside and when to shoot it. Needs to become more consistent with that perimeter jumper and find way to create without getting plucked or stripped.
Jackson: Huge chucker. Selfish type PG who looks for his shot first. Usually makes good buckets though but struggled against the Kansas defense. He tends to attack the rim even when there's a good chance his shot won't go down
Thomas Robinson: Beast. Great rebounder, good athlete, has some post moves, quick getting down the court. He's an okay defender too.

It's just a shame he didn't bring it with him today.
its not just one game, last year and even this season there are few games where he dominated but he had longer stretch of games where he didnt have it. Either way, he just doesnt have ''it'' factor to me. I was so happy in his debut and in other games but he has slowly went downhill again.

Mine is somewhat the same where the wings are concerned. I wanna see more from Barnes and more from Quincy until I finally make my decision. Both have serious holes in their game...but since this draft isn't as star-studded as I originally thought, we'll have to take the one with more potential.
Don't get me wrong, I like MKG and agree that we should take the BPA no matter the position but at the same time, I think if we're going forward with DeRozan as our future SG, then our pick can't be MKG. He would suit a team like Phoenix or New Orleans IMO, The battle for SF in my mind is between Barnes and Miller.
If the Raps decided to part ways with DeRozan, then I'd take a really good look at Lamb and Beal. Beal strikes me as a guy who could be really special at the next level. Has the tools you'd expect from your SG though he undersized at 6'4. But hey, so is Wade.

my pick will always be Harrison Barnes, most complete and NBA ready prospect in this draft. & still has as much potential as anyone in the class.

I don't see how Quincy Miller's handles are overrated at all. I don't see too many SF prospect entering this draft who are as fluid as Quincy handing the ball and can break down the defense with the ability to change pace/gears off the dribble and go east-west. He sizes up against his defender well and look how easy he makes it look shaking them off with either the double cross or inside-out dribble a la Chris Paul. Y'all call this overrated handles?

Rivers? Really?
I haven't watched much of his games but his stats suggest all he does on the court is chuck.
John Henson looks like he's gonna be a C in the NBA. Much like a Marcus Camby
PJ3 still looks confused
Drummond lacks intensity and isn't impressing with the rebounding.
March Madness is going to tell a lot.

MKG and Demar might not bring the shooting touch and substantial amount of points on the table together, but MKG is the guy who on and off the court bring in so much leadership, hes very vocal and has a fierce desire to win which will input a tough mentality that will spread around to the guys in the locker-room. Thats his character. We really need someone like that. Also hes someone who brings an identity for this team on the court - toughness, competitiveness and the will to win, he brings alot of things that Demar doesnt bring, especially his do it all ability - playing outstanding on ball defense, he has that lock-down defender ability potential, even if its not lock-down hes good enough to handle his own. His fierce attacking mode to the rim and clashing the board are quite incredible. Hes also a very underrated passer too, this is why i think he really covers Demars flaws really well, but of course, Barnes pair him up better in terms of shooting touch but MKG is the guy who I think can bring raptors defense to a whole new level. Also offensively he isnt raw, hes very aggressive and assertive. His shots are inconsistent but they should be nowhere near JJs chucking level.
And btw, Beal plays bigger than his 6'4 frame. Hes got long arms too. And his game isnt like River, hes the all around type, someone that scores, crash the board (he always seems to know where the ball lands after it misses) and defend well for his size.

Like I said, he can use those dribbles against high school kids who doesnt even play defense but not against defenders at collegiate level. Actually when he dribbles this season, he doesnt use his other hand to shield from defenders ...like literally everytime he really thinks he can just crossover someone thinking hes still in high school but everytime he does that he gets called for carrying as a result.

Draft BPA with highest upside

1) Davis (his elite defensive presence and improving offense)
2) Barnes (loves his offensive repertoire (jabstep, stepback, shotfake), excellent body control and solid D and clutch)
3) MKG (do it all factor, tough-minded kid, leadership)
4) Lamb (all around game, demar wishes he has skills this good)
5) Drummond (hate his motor but too much potential to ignore)
6) Beal (all around game, demar wishes he has skills this good)
7) River (killer-instinct, ability to break down defenders but still not liking his chucking, tunnel vision and poor defensive skills)
1st pick has to use on Davis. Outside of top 2 I pick Barnes for his offensive prowess. But I still think MKGs presence makes more impact to our team. I also dont mind picking a SG if its BPA (replace DD) and I will be upset if we pick Drummond.

1. Davis
2. Drummond
3 Lamb
4. MKG
5. Barnes
Love to get Davis he is the best player to get in the draft.
But I would be highly tempted to trade him to NO for 2 draft picks in the 4 to 9 range.
Getting a SF in MKG or Barnes with one pick
Moving the other pick to maybe Boston for 2 latter picks getting Kabongo and a SG.

You're right. I agree with all of that.
But I guess it comes down to philosophy and what you really want out of the draft... Are you satisfied with being guaranteed an energy, fierce competitor/defender that will likely never be a go-to guy a la Gerald Wallace or gamble and go for a guy like Miller or Barnes who could disappoint or turn out to be good players like Rudy Gay or Danny Granger. Not stars but very very good basketball players.
I think we're at a point where we need to go for the upper echelon go-to type guys personally so I'd take a hard look at Barnes, Miller, Beal, Lamb and even Drummond. We've got enough role players now. We need to try and pick a guy who we can build around.
This is another reason why I think getting another pick would be huge for us and why I strongly suggest trading Bargnani.

Just out of curiosity, how high of a draft pick do you guys think Demar could net us? If we get a high enough draft pick i'd get Lamb and deal Demar for another pick.
