B and above is a grade based on how he played when healthy and his impact on the team, which was a big one.
amir + ed had down years.
bayless can't play more than 3 games in a row.
jose was a rock for most of the season. with him AND bargs starting, our defense was improved.
demar took 1/2 a season to figure stuff out. again, started playing better when the games didn't matter.
barbosa traded. gray inconsequential.
jj was a surprise - very inconsistent but when playing well, made an impact.
so if you really think about it, only bargs + jose + jj played at a decent level when healthy and demar came on in the 2nd half.
everybody else? it's a real testament to the job casey did.
Demar actually just took a month to figure it out. January. By February you could see the adjustments and back then the games still mattered.
