idunno about that. i mean, draftexpress has his listed at 17. it was expected that he's climb higher, but Oz, top 4's a stretch. if anything, its 5-8, and saying the Kings would take him is pushing it.

No, not at all. I remember when Andris Biedrins got a promise from GSW at #12 and cancelled his trip here. We had #8. Though if he goes higher than us, somebody is going to fall in this draft. Robinson wasn't quite as tall as expected - something like 6' 8 3/4". Drummond is an enigma. That's just the way it is.
It could be Portland at #6, since they need backcourt help and Waiters has a little bit of Brandon Roy in him. If it's #5 or higher, I'd be concerned about a power forward falling.

If he's going top-4 that's beyond mind boggling. I've been riding his jock all season calling him the steal of the draft, but I never thought he'd be THAT much of a steal. Hire me, fire Jim Kelly!

We need to know WHO he shut down on to figure out the basement of who could've promised him (meaning, obv.- if he cancelled on the 12 pick, then he's got 11 or better promising to take him...)

I think top 4 is a little high.
If he gets a promise at this point to go top 10 from a team that also provides a good situation for PT, I can see him taking that.
I don't think it's BC's MO to hand out promises though, not with so much about this roster in flux.

Blazers @ 6 could be possibility
I don't like the Cavs promising him because I'm guessing CLE is being active trying to move up to 2nd or 3rd to get MKG/Beal so they wouldn't make a promise until they're sure (Of course they could just like Waiters more than those guys)

Rich Cho screams big nutsack in terms of the draft to me. Waiters could be his Russell Westbrook "reach"
