Preseason is over, and now is the beginning of a new era. Give it up, for your 2012/2013 TORONTO RAPTORS!

It's so hilarious, Halloween is supposed to be a holiday for family and most importantly for children. Now a days all you see is young girls dressed up like they're in the porn business.

P.S I'm 4-0 when creating a gamethread, so hopefully we can keep rolling.

Why would I post a picture of myself? Or are you just being sarcastic?

" Is that actually Fields? I've seen you post that picture quite a bit and I assumed that was you "

It didn't anger me. It was more of a misunderstanding. I wasn't sure why you assumed that the Fields picture was me. I even wrote " Fields' new look " when I posted that picture in the last game thread. All good though, no harm no foul.

I fully expect the raptors to take this game. Looking forward to the rookies getting to see the ACC at it's rowdiest best and hopefully the team gives a performance to keep them coming back.

Can't wait for the season to start! Too bad that I won't be able to see the live broadcast, but still it would be great to start off with beating the Pacers.

If that's the case that's pretty sad also considering the fact that is no hockey at all. I know the interest has waned in the last few years as a result of the product on the floor but I didn't realize it got this bad.

Hopefully Granger and Hill are out, in which case I really like our chances. I'm looking forward to seeing how our frontcourt matches up against the Pacers.

The season can't start soon enough.

Win or lose, I just hope its not Kardinal performing at half - his performance last year was atrocious.

I'll be at this game and I'm HYPED!!!

The Raptors can pull out a win, but the Pacers are dangerous. Very solid starting 5, every position is good. If Augustin is starting (George Hill might be out for the opener) then we need to exploit that matchup with Lowry.

DeRozan is going to have to bring his A game since he will have Paul George guarding him and we know that George is a good defender. Plus George does have the height advantage over DeMar so shooting jumpshots won't be a smart idea, he needs to attack the rim all night. DeRozan struggled against George is last years home opener, but he did heat up in the 4th quarter.

Another thing that might help in the early going is Jonas running the floor. Hibbert is slow and we might be able to pick up easy buckets that way. There's no way Hibbert can beat Jonas down the floor and we all know that JV loves to run straight to the basket. His teammates just need to find him.

I think the biggest key to winning will be defense of course, but Bargnani will be the key. No one can guard him. He should be able to score on West all night as long as his shot is falling.

Should be a great game.
