To TOR: Wilson Chandler + 3rd Team Contract
To DEN: 1st Round Pick + Expiring (via 3rd team)
To 3rd Team: Linas Kleiza + Ed Davis + 2nd Round Pick (Sacramento via TOR)

just dont know who the 3rd team could be.

Kyle Lowry / Jose Calderon
Demar Derozan / Terrence Ross
Wilson Chandler / Landry Fields
Andrea Bargnani / Amir Johnson
Jonas Val / Aaron Gray

pretty deep and solid. Amir can play backup C minutes with Chandler playing the 4 so Fields and Ross would still get minutes.

I would not give up a 1st rounder AND Davis for Chandler. Gallo and Iggy, possibly.

Agreed. That's quite the package for a fringe starter like Wilson Chandler. I'd have to see him play more minutes and what not but right now that looks like an overpayment. Plus, we can't trade another 1st until 2015 I believe (depending on how the Lowry deal works out).

I genuinely believe that when it comes to Small Forwards, ours is going to come through the draft. IMO, we simply don't have the assets necessary to bring one in that's worthwhile and they're already extremely rare in the NBA. Most are too old to be worth it (Deng, Granger etc) or overpaid or something. I wouldn't mind Gallo but I don't think it could work with him and AB here at the same time and who knows if Denver would even move him, much less to us for what we have.

I'm always for stacking picks and doing homework on upcoming prospects. It's not a good shot, but it's the best one we have.

we wouldnt be giving up a 1st, the 3rd team would is what i meant.

The compensation for the 3rd team to give up a 1st would be Davis and the sac 2nd.

Would the Bulls go for

To TOR: Deng + Hinrich
To CHI: Calderon + Fields + Davis + Future 1st

Lowry / Hinrich
Derozan / Ross
Deng / Anderson / Kleiza
Bargnani / Amir / Acy
Val / Gray / Magloire

I'd love that team.

Mr.Raptorsingh wrote:Richard Jefferson is another guy who is going to be coming off the bench for Golden State. I know he's not popular around here, especially from his days with the Nets, but he might be somebody that could be available, possibly for Kleiza + Amir, or something. He's been a great 3 pt shooter last of couple of seasons, over 40% in both '10 and '11.

It's a good idea, but we'd be taking on like 11,000,000 next year because he has a player option. kleiza and Amir equal his salary but they'd be taking the contracts on for longer. What's in it for Golden State? I mean, unless they really like Amir....

I think Calderon plus Davis would be better for them and for us (they give us Tyler Ennis). They get an expiring contract for a position we need and we get rid of the glut of players at this point. Ennis doesn't need to play really right now. Davis is never going to play enough minutes here, and we are clearly trying to win now. Getting Jefferson would hold down the position for a few years until Ross is ready. We are capped out anyway next year with the Derozan contract. He's really overpaid but at least he can space the floor and defend hard.

Val/Gray/Amir
Bargs/Amir/ Kleiza
Jefferson/Fields/Kleiza
Demar/Ross/Fields
Lowry /Lucas/ maybe the Canadian point guard who almost made the squad from summer league?

is a nice, balanced team. Maybe tops out at a second round exit. Not bad. How good they become depends on Jonas, Lowry , Bargs and Demar. But at least they'll have some damn lanes to drive in to.

Easy out of the bad contracts, flip 3 for 1.

Fields + Amir + Kleiza Traded to Chicago for Carlos Boozer

The 3 way trade

Raps Trade Bargnani + Ross for Rudy Gay

Kings Trade Thornton + Thomas Robinson for Bargnani + Ross + Selby

Memphis Trade Gay + Selby for Robinson + Evans

Raps

Lowry - Calderon + Lucas
DeRozan - Anderson - ????
Gay - "Weems" - McGuire
Boozer - Davis - ????
JV - Gray - ????

I think Chicago would rather just amnesty Boozer than take on our crap

It's all BS. Demar is here to stay

I can see it, because BC must know there is an out to DeRozan's deal before extending him at this amount. He must know there are teams out there that would be willing to take DeRozan at that price range if he doesn't improve and we choose to trade him. If it's not such a case, I am seriously leaning towards firing BC's ass. It's getting really close to the last straw with this guy.

DeRozan could fit in well beside Rose for the future and Calderon gives them a legit starting PG until Rose comes back. Plus Chicago sheds Deng's salary... Deng is a great fit for us, he defends and hits threes. Plus he's another international player to add to our team lol.

I could see this at the trade deadline if Chicago has problems with Rose coming back and has a terrible season. But it's probably not available until the trade deadline.

I don't think Thibs wants a couple of guys who can't play defense.

I say Derozan and Calderon might interest them more. They drop a lot of salary and get a decent replacement at SG

I think its too early to tell if Gordon wants out. He just signed there lol. If the Lakers continue to nose-dive, I think there is potential with Calderon there. Steve Blake has been absolutely atrocious for them---I blame the pressure, as he's been good in previous years for other teams. Obviously they won't trade anyone from their starting unit, but there are some intriguing young pieces off their bench. They are a team that will wheel-and-deal because they cannot afford to suck for long under any circumstance

Starting line-up is great but the bench is just lacking g/f production.

Colangelo for a flaming bag of dog sh*t.

This thread is depressing because no one wants any of our overpaid roster.

Gordon does want out over the summer he tried to leave via RFA to Phoenix and was noticeable disappointed and made comments how he wanted out. I do not know if he wants to come here and with his injury history and all that but when healthy he is a great deal improvement over Derozan

If no big deals for all stats can be made I oils love and try and get Brandon Rush from Golden State even Richard Jefferson and have them start. Both are solid three point shooters and will play hard on defence

Toronto trades with Atlanta
Bargnani for Josh Smith (Even if Smith does not get an extension from the Raptors)

Gives us flexibility.

Toronto trades with Memphis
Bargnani and Kleiza for Zach Randolph

lol i doubt it will ever happen. Zbo is a beast in the post.
Prediction
Spurs in 7. Parker MVP. Lebron 6-17fg, 18pt, 8reb, 5 asst in game 7 LOSS.
The Heat will choke!
