Do we have a favorite yet? Do people really like Shabazz "That much"? I admit I've seen only one UCLA game and it was early on. I wasn't impressed. Came away with the Rivers/Barnes all hype feeling. I for one really like Archie Goodwin and I'm really intrigued with his overall game and potential. I have no clue what his NBA position would be. Point guard i'm guessing? I'll need to see more of him.

I haven't watched too much, but right now I like:

1) Shabazz
2) Zeller
3) Burke
4) Goodwin
5) Bennett
6) Noel
7) McLemore
8) Porter
9) Adams
10) Len

The top 5 guys I can all see as all-stars down the road. The next five seem like they all could be above average starters.

I appreciate the love, GS. They want me to do a special on five seniors as well. Any thoughts on who I should review?

Mason Plumlee for sure... his improvement over the past year should give you alot to write about.

I'm getting a really good feeling about Goodwin but even moreso Burke. He's my guy for the draft and I think he'll end up being the real steal.

Position: PG
Height: 6'0
Wingspan: 6'5
Weight: 190lbs

PPG: 18.1
APG: 7.1
RPG: 3.1
FG%: 53.8%
3ptFG: 40.9%
FT: 74%

That's Burke. Currently projected to go 21st by DX.

Yeah, I don't know why Trey Burke isn't getting more love. I saw the highlights of his game against North Western last night and dude has some of the sickest handles. Granted it was against an inferior opponent, but the games I've watched of him before I never knew he had handles like that shredding the defense up 1-on-5. That ball was like a string to his hands.

Yeah his handles are pretty sick. I'm also liking what I see on the scouting report.. Apparently he's strong in be pick and roll as well which would be great for Val. The only downside to Burke is perhaps his defense, getting to/converting at the rim and his love for shooting. I think all that can be fixed though given the right system and coaching.

He's shorter than I like but Lowry and Paul are also 6'0 and they're pretty good.

I see nothing special in Cody Zeller. I really like Ben Mclemore I think he has a good game. Anthony Bennett been a absolute beast.

Burke had a lot of love last year IIRC.

Outside of Shabazz, Nerlens Noel and Anthony Bennett none of the top 5 projected prospects have blown me away. They're solid players, but I don't see any of them becoming future All-Stars when they have not dominated their opponents the way Anthony Davis and MKG did last year.

I think the best value picks will come in the late lottery to late teens. I like Michael Carter-Williams, Otto Porter, James McAdoo, LeBryan Nash, Trey Burke and Phil Pressey so far.

Trey Burke for undefeated no. 2 ranked Michigan vs. 11-3 Iowa: 19 pts (7-10 FGs) 12 ast

We need to get this guy on our team for next year.

Earlier games he wasn't impressive, during his recent scoring tear he was really showcasing all aspect of his scoring, from 3 point threat, midrange tough shots, runner hooks, pounding the glass offensively and that motor is just impressive. I fear we're not tanking next year so if upcoming schedule bring us back to losing streak then I'd love to see raps luck out on top 3 this year. He has the SF game in him, and that killer drive to help his team win games. So I'm obviously a huge fan. Hope he lands on t dot.

How about Mouhammadou Jaiteh, France big man, is built like a man child at 18 yrs of age. Apparently, he's one of the more impressive big man prospects to ever come out of France. And according to DX, he could be in the 2013 draft, and skyrocket up the draft boards if he has a good showing in the Nike Hoops Summit, a la Biyombo. But, it appears he has more offensive upside than Biyombo did/does.

For some reason, I'm intrigued.

According to what Jaiteh and his agents have told us, and despite being the same age as most high school seniors in the US, he plans on entering his name in the 2013 Draft and would like to come over to the NBA “as quickly as possible” in his words. Because he turns 19 in the calendar year of the draft (November 27th) he is eligible to do so if he chooses. A handful of NBA teams have already been out to see him in France, and he is reportedly on the shortlist of potential candidates to be invited to the Nike Hoop Summit in April.
