Austin is projected 20th by nba draft.net... so can we trade for a pick?

making the playoffs and ending up with Burke would be an awesome way for this season to play out.

If we by some miracle make it into the playoffs the players I would be looking at:

1. Trey Burke
2. Archie Goodwin
3. Alex Poythress or James McAdoo
4. Dario Saric or Rudy Gobert
5. Tony Mitchell

he's #6 on draftexpress right now. In any case, I don't think he's anywhere near ready for the NBA right now, he would be much better served returning to Baylor.

I still think Goodwin is a sleeper.

Use him as a big PG like a Westbrook

^^ lots of people liked him early on but I think he has definitely slipped from where he could have been from speculations. I would probably use him off the bench as that 6th man combo guard the role. He needs to work on his shooting from outside.

If we make the playoffs two guys I would like is they Burke if he fell that far or Myck Kabongo if he came out. I would use Kabongo as third point guard and develop him while trey Burke could come in and do what Lucas does immediately.

Goodwin's footwork penetrating to the rim is really really good for a freshman, but there are times when I can't help but get an Evan Turner feel from him. Guess we'll just have to see how he develops in the tournament.

I wonder if we'd move up in the draft from 15 to select UNLV's Anthony Bennett, or package it to move up for a particular player.

If we end up with the #15 pick, could Dario Saric or Steven Adams be viable possibilities?

We should look at a PG this draft. I hope Kabongo comes out and were in a position to draft him. He'd be a good PG to have as a backup initially. I think he can grow into a good pass first PG in the league.

That would be amazing imo. Steven Adams has been gaining traction despite his rawness because he's been improving throughout the season, and he was one of my favorites going into the season. Although I don't think they'll slip that far, they're lottery talents imo.

Looking for a PG it should go in this order;
1a. MCW
1b. Burke
2. CJ McCollum
3.Kabongo

And Kabango with a 2nd rounder, which we trade for.

If we make the playoffs, I hope we draft Cj McCollum or Tony Mitchell.
McCollum gives off a Steph Curry vibe ( like John Jenkins on the Hawks)
and Tony Mitchell is just extremely athletic..

I edited the poll fellas, it's basically the first few projections from 14 to about 22 according to DX.

I see that Kelly olynyk is on that list and if we need a versatile scorer he would be a nice option. I don't really see how Otto porter is rated that low he will rise. I would look more too post scorers and point guards/ combo guards.

1. Trey Burke
2. Kelly Olynyk
3. Archie Goodwin
4. CJ McCollum
5. Myck Kabngo

I decieded these would be my guys around then I would pick up. I only put Kabongo in that area because of his potential which I think is huge due to his athleticism, speed and explosiveness and his abili to already run a team and vision. Don't actually mind this draft if I am a team in where we would possibly pick up someone but teams at the front end of the draft won't get great value or even that great of players.

Yea right, no way he goes that high. DX sucks compared to NBADRAFT.net as far as ranking goes but I can't say that around here because I will get flamed. But really, DX early draft rankings have always been poor imho.

Haha I check both, but I'm just going with DX since it's the fave around here. Gotta please the masses
