This team could have easily had a way better record than what they currently have. It's natural for a young team with little veteran experience to struggle with consistency. I agree that talent wise, we're better. Just need to bring in a vocal, hard-nosed veteran leader with playoff experience.

In BC I trust.

It would be nice to call out the MLSE rather than petition to get a guy out of a job - kinda harsh. If his contract ended, then that would be a different story

BC contracts end after this season. If you dont fire him he would try to trade the farm to make the playoffs thus convincing the fools in MLSE to give him an extension.

Here's the thing with contracts though. Unlike us salaried people, if he gets fired, he still gets paid. With his contract coming to an end, BC is playing a lame duck GM. You cant leave his situation hanging in the air, bcuz that handicaps his effectiveness.
Either you extend him, or you fire him. If you think we should extend him, then so be it. That's your opinion and Ill respect that.
