Are you sure that calling things that he never actually said "Colangelo sayings" is a bright idea? I'd expect a letter from a lawyer pretty soon if this website gets any attention.

It be great if someone listed all of the awful moves Bryan has done in his almost 7 years with the team including the terms of some of those contracts.

Good point. No "head office" or anybody except children will care about the memes.

USE ACTUAL QUOTES.

Ammar, take notes. HERE'S AN ACTUAL REFERENCE.

Remember, if you do it right, these ARE effective.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-o ... le4096724/

Was there a really dark moment? When I was hiring the general manager for basketball. I had let Glen Grunwald go in 2004, and it was being played out in the media. There was a firepeddie.com website. I got obscene phone calls and had the police come in. One fellow rented a plane with a banner. I remember one night I couldn’t sleep and I walked into a Starbucks as soon as it opened in the morning, and the person behind the counter said, “Who are you going to hire for GM?” I’m not a celebrity, but I’d bet I’m recognized much more often than any of the bank CEOs, and they run much bigger companies.

Anyone have actual quotes, or a list of dumb things done by Colangelo? We can get in on this.

This:
Picking eighth, I passed on somebody I consider a top-five talent in the draft because we felt like he didn’t have the right mental makeup. I passed on someone we thought was a top-three physical specimen because we felt he wasn’t the right fit for our team and didn’t have the right mental makeup.

Saying his biggest regret was drafting Tucker over Milsaap (a pick he delegated to Jim Kelly no less). If his biggest regret is a second round pick over his tenure and he has to subconciously deflect fault for that, it just sums up his entire tenure here.

His evolution of the game theory leading to the Kapono signing

The Amir quote after he got paid is a good indirect shot at his management capabilities.

Sorry I didn't dig and give you a specific quote

You have it wrong there Adam. Its not us they care about, its their own egos. These are rich, powerful men who are used to world slobbering on their knobs and serving them caviar.

They DO NOT LIKE TO BE EMBARRASSED. Anything we can do that makes their company look like a joke in turn makes them look like a joke. And that definitely includes making the GM of the club the laughing stock of the city and fan base.

These guys want this sort of attention to just go away. And they know the easiest way to make it go away is to FIRE BC. That is why it works.
