Design a new uniform:

Use the blank canvas on Jonas Valanciunas (shown) or email us jpegs of your own illustrations of a new uniform for the team. Download a pdf here and create your own design, then send us your creation at Thestarsubmissions@gmail.com and we’ll post our favourites.

I'm not really the artistic nor creative type, but I know many of you are. Just interested to see the ideas that some of you might have.

Even if you're not going to post to The Star, maybe we can share some designs here.

What's this rumbling I've heard lately about a name change? Maybe I missed the thread in here, but is it serious? I hope not. Raptors may not be the greatest name but I'm used to it and in all honesty it's not really that bad.

Is there a due date for this?

These are by far the best I've seen. Someone with some skill just needs to draw it on homeless crack addict Jonas.

I don't mind aspects of the design but that Raptor logo is horrific. Looks like a brontosaurus, but more importantly it looks like something Kraft would throw on some lunch snacks and less like something I'd want to put on my hat.

I agree. I don't love it, but much better than Heat, Magic, Jazz, Pelicans, Thunder, Wizards, Suns.

Don't the MLSE have to notify the league when they are changing their uniforms/name? Assuming they did this last year, we could see it for this upcoming season, otherwise i'd expect it for next season. In time for Wiggins homecoming?
