I said "no." But I don't know. Maybe? Hypotheticals make my head spin.

Yes, Ross has potential to be great, but Drummond is much more of a surety.

They would never offer that, but yes, you do it.

Ross drops 51 in a loss, but what if Drummond was on Blake?

There isn't a GM in the league that wouldn't trade Ross for Drummond tonight.

I don't think DET would trade Drummond for anyone on our roster.

No, DET wouldn't trade Drummond for anyone short of a Lebron or Durant, but I'll tell you, I wouldn't trade Ross/Jonas for Drummond/Josh Smith. Dumars, if he survives this season, is going to have to find a sucker to take Smith's contract.
Interesting thing is the emerging debate whether small ball league wide is reducing the need for a high end C. I'm not a believer in that, but it certainly is nice to have multiple scoring options on the wing. If that's the trend, then Ross/DeMar/Lowry is a nice combination to have.
What the Raptors need now is a stud 4 and a backup 7-footer. Take out Jonas and this team's other bigs are just too short and easily pushed around.

Obviously. Drummond has both the much higher ceiling AND is a more sure thing than Ross.

Drummond fell in the draft for good reason. He has pretty big holes in his game.
Even if I'd do that trade (I wouldn't) it wouldn't make any sense as we already have JV at C. And yes, I'd take JV over Drummond too.

Man, to play fantasy basketball with some of you must be like stealing candy from Vince Carter. I'd take all your stars after any of their bad games and sell you all my role players after career nights.

Assume the poll would be about the same if the proposed trade were Ross for Lebron because that's just the alternate reality we seem to be in right now.

Drummond is overrated, I don't get it. He's a young DeAndre Jordan, that's all he is.
