So as I'm browsing the forums over the last little while, it seems apparent that many feel a PF should be targeted in the offseason with the hope of putting Amir in the 6th man role. With that said, Pau and Al Jeff are probably out of the question. Who would you guys think is an under the radar target to come in and supplant themselves as a starter here?

Just some suggestions:

- I think there could be some traction in a T Ross to Detroit for Greg Monroe

- Thad Young from Philly?

- Kenneth Faried?

we don't need a PF, we have Patrick Patterson, Tyler hansbrough already. People forget 2Pat is only 24, he's a young PF with great IQ and feel for the game. No need to make reactionary trades, all this team needs is the time to develop together and pick up a few more additional assets along the way

Yeah we do need a PF. I'm all for keeping Amir and letting him come off the bench. We need a young PF with good size and his primary strength should be rim protection.

If Patterson and Psycho T return I'm not that worried about the power forward position. If they don't it's an easy position to fill given the depth of talent in the league. I'm more worried about the small forward position. We haven't been able to get consistent adequate production or solid play from that spot in a long time. Our biggest lack of depth is at the small forward and center.

Monroe will look good on Raps

I think Patterson will supplant Amir by next season. No need to give up Ross when we're already thin at the wings.

Greg Monroe is not needed.

Thad Young I would look into tho. With the league playing more and more small ball it makes sense. He's not a game changing player though.

Pat is also a UFA next year isnt he? He'll certainly get pretty good offers, not a slam dunk that he'll be back next year.

Ed Davis was a 14/10 player on 55% fg when ever he started here. I still think he is way too talented but Memphis is not a good fit for him.

no way. That'd be a defensive sieve of a front court. JV isn't ready to cover for other's mistakes on defense, he still makes too many himself.

Ed Davis could definitely work. Need a shot blocker at that position, preferably one that can also step out to the midrange and hit a jumpshot. PPat is good off the bench as an offensive floor spacer who also provides toughness and rebounds.

This is thinking way too far down the line, but someone in the mold of Kristaps Porzingis would be ideal if he develops properly.

There's this guy named Amir Johnson who's a game changing defender and is 5th in the league in FG%. We should go after him!

Really want Al Horford.. we can't get him without trading away key pieces sadly

Our need is backup SF with experience who can put up 6th man numbers.

Marion, Ariza, Butler wont come here...Marvin williams? CJ Miles?

Thad would be nice but the best player we can offer is Salmons Fields Expiring, Novak?

I would also bring Ed Davis back
