Is he on his decline? or is he just injured. I know he bring its on defence but what happened to his scoring and rebounding??

Im afraid he is deteriorating. Sad to say.

Could be on a decline. But I might still chalk it up to injuries. He always looks like he's struggling out there, whereas in the past he's been an energy guy.

The quick forwards of Suns are tough match up for him. Tough for him to play on the perimeter as he likes to patrol the paint.

This team is 10 deep. Any given game, 1 or 2 players are going to have bad game because there is only one ball. JV had it going today and that was partly at the expense of Amir.

He doesn't seem to have the jump that he used to

His rebounding has been a struggle thus far and now he gets beat more than ever defensively. Offensively, it doesn't seem like we utilize him much anymore on PnRs

Our Starting PF is the biggest concern for me right now

With Amir defence is first. Hes been quiet for sure, but we havent needed him to play heavy minutes or shutdown the Gasols of the league. He's probably still playing back into things. This team is poised for a playoff run, and he is a key piece to win at that level, so I say let him take it as easy as possible and keep those ankles fresh.

Whether he is playing hurt or he is actually deteriorating, the fact is he is not contributing sufficiently and needs to come of the bench. Many have argued that his health cannot be trusted for him to be the long-term PF of the team. Maybe this has become more apparent.

He has a 17 PER and he's playing very good defense.

It's called playing hurt. Today particularly posed major matchup issues for him, though.

He should be playing twenty minutes off the bench ideally. Great player but he just cant handle too much anymore. We all know the answer:

I see him as a Battier type player. Don't judge him by his stats, this ain't fantasy ball. The guy does all the dirty work.

I'd prefer he be a 20-25 min/game type player though..he's averaging around 25 min/game this year, which seems fine to me. Problem is we have Hansbrough/Hayes or smallball line-ups filling up some minutes
