Cheating sure, but seperating as a couple with a child, not ideal but **** happens
Staying with someone you're unhappy with is worse on you than having divorced parents is on a child. Most kids these days are children of divorce tbh and they're more or less fine. The important part is they still have a mother figure and father figure.
