From GB: NY Daily: Durant Growing Increasingly Frustrated With Jackson & Westbrook

The Knicks have expressed interest in Jackson, but for what it’s worth, the word coming out of the Thunder locker room is that Durant is not a big fan of the free-agent-to-be guard. And depending on whom you talk to, there are also whispers that Durant is growing increasingly frustrated with Westbrook, one of the league’s most dynamic players and whose style is shoot first, ask questions later.
The question for Presti and coach Scott Brooks will eventually be: continue to build around Durant and Westbrook, or trade Westbrook for a point guard more to Durant’s liking.

That being said, for the raptors to sign a superstar in the offseason would be difficult and is doubtful KD would sign here. If Westbrook was on the market would u trade Lowry+ filler for him. Something like Lowry+DD for Westbrook, morrow, Perry Jones.
KD would get the pg he need and dd would be another one two punch for thunders to keep being a contender. Toronto depth could cover the lost of dd but Westbrook would be crazy in the east and raptors would get a young superstar to build on. Maybe I will get flame for this trade talk but I think it would be a great trade for both team. Westbrook will get to be the man will a good core and depth in Toronto

Thunder would laugh. I think they are more likely to move Durant.

Lowry did us a favour and re-signed with this team, and you want to trade him for a superstar who is 99.9% going to bolt at the first chance he gets?
I keep Lowry, I keep DD.
Yes they are not elite, but they bring Team Chemistry to the table and have really united this fanbase after years of mediocrity.
I am happy with them and I want to see this core continue growing (which they are).
Also I love how you casually say Lowry+FILLER for Westbrook.
That filler would probably be along the lines of JV, Ross, and a 1st rounder... which still probably isn't enough.
Raptors are on the right track.
Keep building internally and acquire assets, not give them away.

Are those words in the OP the article? Anyway, this sounds like NY rumour control. It's a bigger facility than the NBA replay center.

Just sign Durant outright next offseason and pair him with DeRozan and Lowry. No need to trade, let alone trade for Westbrook.

lol at the source, NY aint getting ****. They keep hoping a big time player signs with them, but they always end empty handed. Since 2010 all they have to show for is two of the most overrated and overpaid players in the league in Melo and Stat. They can keep dreaming.

That does not surprise me at all about Westbrook. Eventually guys are going to get sick of you shooting 20 shots a game on 42% shooting.

Yes I agree with you, Lowry is the heart and soul of the team. Just the fact that I couldn't think of any point guard that are good enough to trade Westbrook for the thunder and for KD to have a fit to keep being contender. Just asking "IF" thunder offer a trade to Masai Westbrook for KL and DD it would be decline.
For the thunder a lineup of
KL/DD/KD/ilbaka/Adams would it be a drop off or improved lineup

I would guess that Durant will leave first. He's going to (be part of) a good team.

This is another garbage article started by NY media to start the Durant to NY or Jackson to NY propaganda, more likely the latter since they know there's almost 0 shot of them attaining KD. From what I see in the OKC game, Durant and RW are as tight as any other 1-2 combo, there's no way KD would want to see Russ get traded, he's always the first to stick up for him, even during RW's roughest of stretches in his career.
note: I'm a huge Lowry fan, but no way he's better than Westbrook

Ok cool so jackson goes to the knicks, westbrook goes to the lakers, durant goes to washington, and the thunder go back to Seattle as the Supersonics!
Oklahoma city doesnt deserve that team at all. Once they become a typical bargain basement team their true identity as a fan base will be exposed.

First off Westbrook is signing with the lakers and second KD is as good as gone.. He will go to Washington or Toronto.
If OKC doesn't know this already they are just stupid, they truly messed up the moment they traded Harden.
