Depends on the "star" I suppose but it's hard to imagine this going anywhere. A good GM should be willing to listen to offers for anybody.

No joke, go after KD now.
His displeasure with the media is mostly the AMERICAN media isn't it? Maybe he should check out how the nice Canadian media do it up here! Plus, with Russ winning the MVP last night, there's going to be absolutely no chill in his game going forward. Not that there ever really was any chill in RW's game, but it's going to be amplified even more now. That could lead to KD getting shut out more on offense, and growing frustrated?
JV/Ross/Lou Will/Fields/2015 1st/2016 NYK 1st for KD and filler if needed.

Well it would have to be a star from a non-playoff team. The only REAL stars on non-playoff teams right now are Boogie, Carmelo, Anthony Davis, Hayward (ish), and Wiggins.
Carmelo - just no for obvious reasons
KD / Westbrook - untouchable
Anthony Davis - untouchable
Hayward - not a position of need
Wiggins - Franchise player
Boogie - The only realistic trade option

Either Cousins or Faried.
But I wouldn't give Jonas for Faried.
Cousins would make this team the biggest threat in the East playoffs easily.

JV and Ross could net a borderline all star type of player, not really an all star without throwing in picks.
