Wiz in 4, trade for DMC.

Raps to the ECF...

STILL TRADE FOR DMC!

This is why i'm happy we got the Wiz matchup, I won't be mad if it's Wiz in 4.

I think this DMC nonsense has to stop, he's not going to be traded, or demand a trade, for at least a year. He's giving George Karl a lot of latitude to improve things.

That's one of the more refreshing things he's said recently..

Gotta be careful though. BC tried to switch things up after 2 first round exits and look how that went.

Yeah - we should all be happy we drew the Wizards based on this. We get a tougher 1st round matchup but also a matchup that we should win if we feel this core is good enough. If we don't win - well, then clearly changes need to be made. If we do win - well then, the reward is that we get to face an easier 2nd round matchup. It literally is a win win for long term fans who doesn't want to see this team spiral in mediocrity (which could have happened if we drew MIL and got beat against CLE) as well as for short thinking fans who want us to win now - since we do have a good shot against WAS and ATL. Although - I guess CLE would have been the test we needed to determine if this core is good enough - which we could see in the ECF. I think we all know tweaks need to be made for this team to be better. We need a rim protector down low and we need to find a lock down 3 who can hit the 3. I thought Ross was that guy but not so sure anymore..

Awesome, either way, I think Masai will go to work in the offseason.

This is exactly why many of us wanted the Wiz, fearing this sort of mindset going into the offseason. The last thing this team needs is a GM who thinks the core is good enough because they wiped the floor with Milwaukee, at least I hope Masai isn't that sort of guy; otherwise we're screwed regardless.

First round loss: major changes, assuming
3rd round appearance or beyond: keep it together, assuming
Lose in 4-5 games in a decisive second round loss: ??
Lose in 6-7 games in a toughly contested second round: ??

Masai on Pierce: "I honestly don't have enough money to respond (to Pierce). But everyone knows exactly how I would respond to it."

Great answer

What I want to know is how Masai will top his FBrooklyn speech this year against Washington.

He'll just drop the mic, and walk off like a boss.

Masai should've just walked up to the podium, said "F Washington!" Drop the Mic and leave like a true boss.
