I hardly make any new threads, and this is far from reactionary.

But it's safe to say that our team goes as far as Kyle Lowry , he is our franchise player and the main reason why we have played well these past 3 years.

However, watching him today I realize something is completely wrong and of course the blame is to be put on the whole team, however this is going unnoticed and dates back to the Washington series.

I watch Lowry play all the time, and today the way he played , Differing the basketball a lot, playing off ball more than usual, missing clutch free throws as well as having his dribble penetration Drive stopped completely got me worried. He did not even attempt to lead this team when it counted , and completely folded in. For someone who gets ranked as an MVP, and someone who is a starter for the Eastern conference All-Star team, this is completely unacceptable .

And what I believe is the case is that he is rundown and injured. A lot of the shots he took, unlike demar, where not as tightly guarded. Kyle actually had a lot of room to operate. He also was making ridiculous passes and turned over the ball a lot.

This is been happening at the later part of the season as well, Where Kyle has it been struggling because of that elbow injury.

Unlike demar, lorry's game is much more versitaile - he can't be shut down. And watching those missed free-throw's it just seems like Kyle is not playing 100%

I want this thread to be a complete analysis of Kyle's play, especially on the offence end.

I might be wrong but he looks completely different then the guy we are all used to.

Any thoughts?

Stop making excuses. He isnt a playoff performer. PERIOD

He's a choker. Nothing wrong with him physically. Same as last year. Not buying some mystery injury bull again. Every player is banged up at this point. No excuses.

There's definitely wrong with him. His elbow was supposed to be fine by now...

His bad FT performance didn't start today. A very worrying trend for sure.

If his elbow was a serious problem, he should have sat out.

This is on him, plain and simple.

He played heavy MPG up until the post season. We had no movement in seeding for months. Useless coaching and stubborn players to blame I guess but I don't have inside info on what the staff said so ill blame Lowry for pushing through any known injuries if it is the case.

Regardless, same story year in year out.

Give Lowry some slack, at least he brought his defence today. My anger is towards a choker who is about to get a max contract off of Kyle's success running this team.

Lowry has never been a great FT shooter, even early this season he had some bad FT lines.

I think his choking manifested more in his decision making.

Whole team choked. Starting from the coach down to the 15th guy on the bench.

Horrible coaching, all - stars didn't show up and refs were garbage = Raptors loss and board blows up.

He isn't hurt, he just needs to step up and start playing as hard as the Pacers guards were.

This core has lost 7 playoff games in a row!

Lowry is supposed to be the best player on this team since he's been here the entire time he's either really good
or so bad he's detrimental to the team.

The guy is epitome of fools gold and should be a 3rd or 4th best player on a team

Well Lowry has been hurt his whole career. If you expect him to start suddenly to be healthy into his 30's now you're foolish.

Lowry never admits when he's hurt. His FT shooting is indicative of a still serious shooting issue.

The bigger issue is the Pacers have created "rules" for how to handle pick and rolls depending on who is involved.

If Lowry is involved they hedge to dissuade the 3. If Derozan is involved they pack the pain to encourage the long 2 or pass. It's the perfect defensive strategy for these 2 and it looks like the pacers might be experienced enough defensively to execute such a specialized playoff-centric strategy.

ive never seen Lowry make bad decision after bad decision or fumbling the ball like that all season. HE CHOKED

He played hurt but also dumb. No excuse

to be fair to Lowry, he's been sh*tting the bed at the free-throw line for weeks now. Didn't just start today.

shut him down after 60 games so he wont get injured or run out of gas
