With the 9th pick Raptors draft Jakob Poeltl.

Later that day Jakob Poeltl, Ross and Delon traded for Paul Milap and Atl second rounder.

I really am a fan of Brice Johnson. I think he'll be one of the best players to come out of this draft.

He didn't sign out of high school and three years later, he was projected by many to be the top pick of the 2016 MLB Draft leading up into the last 2 weeks. He ended up going 6th Overall to the Oakland Athletics. One trait that I've noticed is that guys in "Want" category are guys that I've projected to be either superstars or perennial all star players, the guys in the "Wouldn't Mind" category are guys that would be guys that can sneak into a couple of NBA all star games/are above average NBA starters, guys in the "Worried About/Hesitant About Taking" category are guys with question marks whether it be health etc. even though they could project to be perennial all stars (Dunn) or guys that will be fringe starters/backups and the "Terrence Ross Clones/Stay Away From" category are guys that I think will be busts for whatever reason. Here's my final list heading into tomorrow's draft.

Want: Buddy Hield, Dragan Bender, Marquese Chriss, Brice Johnson, Thon Maker, Patrick McCaw, Timothe Luwawu, Kay Felder, Cheick Diallo, Deandre Bembry (if he's moved to point guard), Damian Jones, Chinanu Onuaku, Rade Zagorac, Thomas Walkup
Wouldn't Mind: Jamal Murray, Jaylen Brown, DeJounte Murray, Malachi Richardson, Skal Labisierre, Deyonta Davis, Fulkan Kormaz, Henry Ellenson, Denzel Valentine, Tauren Prince, Ante Zizic, Tyler UlisJoel Bolomboy, Demitrius Jackson, Isaiah Whitehead, Malcom Brogdan, Zhou Qi, Gary Payton II, Daniel Hamilton, Wayne Seldon, Jarrod Uthoff, Derrick Jones, Robert Carter, Georgios Papagiannis, Paul Zisper, Petr Cornelie, Troy Williams
Worried About/Hesitant About Us Taking: Krish Dunn, Jacob Poeltl, Malik Beasley, Stephen Zimmerman, Pascal Siakam, Caris LaVert, Anthony Barber,
Terrence Ross Clones/Stay Away From: Ben Bentil, Perry Ellis, AJ Hammons, Michael Gbinijie, Dorian Finney-Smith

Am I missing something? Did Sabonis pull out of the draft?

What formula are you using to come to this? Reason I ask is because you mentioned analytics being a factor when a few players in your worried about list are among the top players in advanced stats.

I disagree with the majority of the list but thanks for posting. Always cool to see other posters opinions!

I knew I was forgetting someone. I forgot Sabonis and Diamond Stone. Gonna edit that now, thanks!

Sorry guys, I was doing this on Microsoft Word and forgot to edit. :nonono: Jaylen Brown should be moved from Wouldn't Mind to Want and Guerschon Yabusele should be added to Want, Jacob Poeltl should be moved a category ahead, Denzel Valentine should be moved a category below and guys like Sabonis, Baldwin, Stone and Gracin Bakumanya are guys I forgot to add but they're also in the "Wouldn't Mind" category. Also forgot to add Ivica Zubac and Juan Hernangomez who should be in the "Worried About" category.

Sorry for the confusion fame. Kris Dunn was in my Worried About list because of his shoulder. I still think he could become a perennial all-star type player but there may be more to why he's not letting all the teams see info on his shoulder. As for Valentine and Beasley, various health issues like Valentine's knee and Beasley's inserted rod in his leg causes me to question picking them. As for advance stats, it's a mix between those and scouting reports I've compiled up to making these lists. I like Poeltl and wouldn't mind him at all and alot of things are pointing to him as him being as good of a 9th pick as we possibly can make. Just that from everything I've read, I don't see him becoming this perennial all star/superstar type player that would put him in the 1st category.
