So there are lot of turmoil happening in Euroleague regarding one of our "Young Gunz" - Sonny Weems.

Last weekend he refused to take anti-doping-test (he gave his own version how that went), which was last straw and Maccabi cut him from their roster. He was earning 1,3mil Euros this season, which is pretty high in Europe.

It is not the end of his problems though, for refusing/failing drug test he might get sanctioned by FIBA and get two year ban. This would pretty much restrict his employment options to China..

Now that more details are coming out, apparently Maccabi wanted to payout his contract multiple times before this, as he caused all kinds of shenanigans in the team - coach got fired because of him and also he somehow caused a rift between american and israeli players on the roster.

Story keeps going, it seems he has bastard/extramarital 3 y/o son in Lithuania, from his 2013/2014 season in Žalgiris..

I know of a girl who used to be friends with him.

She was telling me how weems would take her and a boat load of her friends all out for full all inclusive trips.

They used to make him spend his $$$ on purpose and laugh that he'd blow so much.

To be fair I wouldn't of ever touched her with a 10 foot pole back then or now. Just not worth it lol.

I then realised that weems is more of a idiot then any professional athlete.

I know a girl who used to "date" him. He had a knack for banging strippers. Was into white girls only lol

Well on the bright side, maybe in 15 years a certain Weemsas Jr. might help Lithuania's national team.

Damn, I knew he got waived, but I thought it was just basketball reason. Never heard of this anti doping story. Sonny and whole Maccabi team has been a huge disappointment this year, just a bunch of Americans collecting a paycheck on the floor.

My experience with him has been been great. Met and hung out with him on king west randomly one night, he added me on FB and we are still in touch

After reading Weems' side of things, it certainly sounds suspicious. Sure he could be a cancer in the locker room, but if his side is true that they isolated him for 6 hours and threw his samples out because they were "diluted" due to the water the provided Weems, then they did him dirty.

There were #Clowns on realgm that thought DeMar was better than Weems.. DeMar will never come close to reaching Weems' level.
