You want to play for 2nd.

I want to win championships ...that's the difference betwen us. You're okay with settling for 2nd, I'm not.

No your playing for 29th-30th.

There is no championship with tanking.... not one team has done it

Are you debating you have a better chance at a superstar picking 20 and after over top 10? Okay, I get every superstar picked in the top 10, you get every superstar picked 20 and after.

Lets see how has a better team.

you're picking 3 years out of 69. So you're basing not tanking on 3 years out of 69?

Brilliant

The funniest thing is Kat is probably going to be the best big in the game. So even in the 3 years you picked, theere was a guy that will probably be the BEST in the game in the frontcourt.

keep diggin bro, you're making yourself look really bad

Almost?

lets change the game? How many superstars were picked 20 and after in the history of basketball? You're giving me 10 years out of 69 and still are showing me superstars.

I'm giving 69 years. How many Superstars can you show me in the 69 years the nba has been around that were picked 20 and afteR?

It works both ways, I'll wait.

No reaches please.

It's only a reach based on internet mock drafts. There's no telling what actual GM's think.

Don't answer a question with a question. You said you want to win championships. You can't win championships without a superstar. You said you want to continue to pick in the 20's.

Therefore your only chance is you pick a superstar in the 20's. I'll ask again and continue to ask until you answer the question, how many superstars were picked 20 and after?

Also, don't use I'm not a draft expert as an excuse. We're debating the draft right now. So if you don't know anything about the draft then be quiet. You don't know what you're talking about. You just admitted it.

I'm not expert I'm not gonna look up 69 years of history to prove a point on a internet ain't got tome for that lol

Last decade you have 10% chance of drafting a superstar in the top 5.

I rather just have what we have now than try to watch garbage basketball and losing for 10% chance of drafting superstar

I missed your angry posts sir. Lol. You're one of the few I can relate to when it comes to opinions on this team.
I think it's possible that an all star could fall into the 20's. But superstar as in all NBA 1st team ain't happening. Only hope with the current course is stockpiling assets and hoping some of the picks outperform expectations and can one day be packaged for anot her all star or all NBA guy. It's one of those once a decade moves. But you have to have better assets than any other interested franchise. So it's a long shot. But that's a more likely path to a star than just drafting one on the 20s.
Of course I'm still up for a blow up but we know that ain't happening.

You need superstars to win championships. Majority of superstars(87% are picked in the top 10)

I want to win championships and understand that sitting in the middle isn't the way. Any knowledgeable NBA analyst or reporter would tell you the same.

Yes we are because we've reached our peak and we aren't at the top.

All the guys I want are mocked out of our range on most drafts.

Gonna need someone to fall or for another team to take a low mocked guy higher.

But if they improve they are not treadmill. Also, are we not just sayin, as usual, if we do not climb into the top 4 consistently we need to blow this up? That is insane of course. Or, "look what the Leafs did". They got arguably a generational talent. The difference is even if they tank with a Marlies roster the scalpers still sell those armed robbery tickets. If we tank we wear the Craptor egg platter moniker and we are repelled by all available talent under tank quarantine and serious coaches won't give us the time of day. We would just put in time until the 25 per cent chance lotto happens (best case scenario) and follow-up Summer league showcase. We might get good players but there may be zero who become as good as Demar. Our two-pronged approach of drafting and paying a tier two team is hardly a bad proposition. We may stumble onto the missing piece at a time when Norm breaks out at age 26. You just cannot predict with certainty this squads downfall or the timing of their predicted demise. We should really be no worse than Masai's Denver teams which the Kroenkes blew up. Anyone loving Denver right now?
