I missed your angry posts sir. Lol. You're one of the few I can relate to when it comes to opinions on this team.
I think it's possible that an all star could fall into the 20's. But superstar as in all NBA 1st team ain't happening. Only hope with the current course is stockpiling assets and hoping some of the picks outperform expectations and can one day be packaged for anot her all star or all NBA guy. It's one of those once a decade moves. But you have to have better assets than any other interested franchise. So it's a long shot. But that's a more likely path to a star than just drafting one on the 20s.
Of course I'm still up for a blow up but we know that ain't happening.

Can't see this happening. They're good, not great.

But if they improve they are not treadmill. Also, are we not just sayin, as usual, if we do not climb into the top 4 consistently we need to blow this up? That is insane of course. Or, "look what the Leafs did". They got arguably a generational talent. The difference is even if they tank with a Marlies roster the scalpers still sell those armed robbery tickets. If we tank we wear the Craptor egg platter moniker and we are repelled by all available talent under tank quarantine and serious coaches won't give us the time of day. We would just put in time until the 25 per cent chance lotto happens (best case scenario) and follow-up Summer league showcase. We might get good players but there may be zero who become as good as Demar. Our two-pronged approach of drafting and paying a tier two team is hardly a bad proposition. We may stumble onto the missing piece at a time when Norm breaks out at age 26. You just cannot predict with certainty this squads downfall or the timing of their predicted demise. We should really be no worse than Masai's Denver teams which the Kroenkes blew up. Anyone loving Denver right now?
