I usually don't get too excited off highlight videos, but I don't know too many players that age that can catch one handed lobs behind their head, nail pull up jumpers and switch on the perimeter. Would he have been at UCLA the same time as Norm?
He was a redshirt freshman at Norm's last year at UCLA.

It kinda sucks that where are so crowded at the guard spots.
There's a lot of guys in this draft there that interest me.
Wish we still had that second pick so we could take something for need and then a potential pick

I wonder how high Jeanne has raised himself up with those measurements. Teams might draft him higher than projected so that they don't miss out on the next Rudy Gobert. He's interesting because I can see us taking him as a draft+stash, and if not it likely means he's selected ahead of us which allows someone else to drop a bit.
Think about the fact that he needs to jump 7 inches to touch the rim, but his no step vertical is 29 inches. That means he can get his hands around 12 feet without a running start. That bodes well for his shot blocking projections as an NBA player. Of course, he needs to add another 30 pounds to his frame (hopefully more like KG did, less like JV). But if weight is his biggest issue, as a 20 year old, there isn't really an issue.

After the combine I'm going to re-arrange my top-10(11):
1) OG Anunoby
2) Justin Jackson (MD) + Johnathan Jeanne (I think Jeanne goes in the lotto though)
3) Jordan Bell
4) Ivan Rabb
5) Wesley Iwundu
6) Anzejs Pasecniks
7) Jonah Bolden
8) Frank Mason
9) Kyle Kuzma
10) Harry Giles

Jawun Evans broke the combine record for wingspan of a player under 6 feet (he's 5'11.5 with 6'5.5 wingspan). Like his game as well.

I am not sold on DeLon Wright (and FVV)
As a UNC guy, I am always suspicious of players coming out of Duke. but If a Frank Jackson is available that late: you go for him.
Kyle Kuzma name coming up at that range, can we really go for another Utah Utes, at this point?
Has Krystkowiak proven to be a future star NBA player developer?
Our first two have not impacted our Franchise yet in any way, Poeltl is certainly not the next Pau Gasol as some were claiming and Delon is just one year younger than Cojo.

Question: why isn't Leaf in the conversation? People keep mentioning bubble second rounders and this stretch 4 potential dynamo gets ignored. Kid has serious skills. If Pat bolts as expected I would be looking hard at this guy.

These are my top 3 based purely on the combine, in no particular order:
Jeanne
Diallo
Robinson

I watched him play a bit last season, when I thought he was going to enter. He moves well for someone that size, but to me it's not about gaining weight as much as it is whether he can get thrown around without breaking in two. He just looks like injuries.
I was not so high on Gobert, either, mind you, and he took a major leap when he got to the NBA. He was unplayable in his rookie year, both really soft and moved awkwardly. Then he just completely changed his body and mindset and now he's a dominant force.

Kuzma just looks like he travels a lot in his post moves and is slow with no bounce. I guess I could see a career like Kyle Anderson for him, but I am pretty sure there is better talent them him up top. If he goes undrafted, I would be calling him up.

You can't judge a guy by what some were claiming. The next Pau Gasol wouldn't go 9th in any draft. He went 3rd in his own

Back when taking Euros was a huge no no.

It's true, for Jeanne to be successful he'll need to gain that swagger Rudy did. For now there's no way Jeanne can play in the NBA, it's a down the road thing if you select him. The kid would be in the same weight class as point guards. But he added 20 pounds this past year, and I think if he's able to add another 15-20 in the next year or 2, by the time he's 22, he'll have a shot in this league to be very very good. Of course, the weight has to be good weight.
With all that said, he also has a chance to be the next Alexis Ajinca. And then there's my opinion that he'll be taken before us. This is a copy cat league, and like I said in my previous post all it takes is one GM in the lottery to see the next Rudy Gobert.

True, but taking 7-footers was a huge yes. I don't think Poeltl would have slipped to #9 after summer league, let alone now, but I'm still not expecting him to be the next Pau.

He might be taken before us but his weight is going to scare a lot of people off the Gobert comps (who weighed like 237 in his draft year).

Skilled for sure, but he comes with major red flags on the defensive end imo. Like, he almost reminds me of Bargs defensively, except slower.

I think my list is exactly like yours. I love OG but, I doubt he falls. Jeanne looked real good at the combine, I too, wouldn't be surprised if someone reached for a potential Gobert with better shooting touch in the lotto.
I love Jackson, if we were to keep Lowry/DeMar and he's developed right, we could have our poor mans Draymond in him. Shooting, length and playmaking.
Another guy I'm super high on is Bell. I truly believe if he develops some sort of shooting ability; he will be a DPOY candidate. He's tough, strong and is an amazing weak side helped defender - whether it's blocking shots or distrupting passing lanes. (I think he recorded the fastest shuttle run of all time - 2.64?) that's insane. Maybe he's the LeBron stopper we've been waiting for - joking but still. He has excellent size and lateral movement.

That's not the point. Plus Pau was actually an accomplished player as a super Euro Prospect. was Poeltl?
Brook Lopez was drafted 10th and can score 20 easily and now has a 3 on top of that, with that massive length of his.
Poeltl is certainly not the next Brook Lopez. What has Krystkowiak proved?
