Smart get for them, especially if they can offload some extra salary to a third team. KCP wasn't going to be worth that max contract and they have Kennard waiting in the wings. This may have done BKN a favor as well as they were probably only going to offer KCP a max just to drive Detroit's matching price up. Now they may be able to get him for less than what his projected market was supposed to be.

Great trade by Detroit though, Bradley is a much better player than Morris and they picked up a 2nd rounder in the process. Allows them flexibility with KCP.

Marcus Morris makes $5M, Bradley is set to get $8.8M, so the Celtics still haven't saved enough money yet, I don't think.

Huge blow for Boston if they don't get a decent return

So the Celtics had to give up their best defensive guard and one of the better ones in the league to fit in Hayward.

We'll see what comes back from Detroit.

Marcus Morris fits perfectly in Boston. Losing AB will hurt but Morris is a very useful player

Marcus Morris? Does that actually save the C's money to fit in Hayward. If not I assume there goes Crowder plus something to Utah.

Their frontcourt is horrendous. It gets better but it's not great. Still, a good addition. Morris fits with what Boston is doing and where the league is going.

It seems this doesn't save them money to fit in Hayward yet so this is still going to cost them either Smart or Crowder.

A good move though for Boston who had a very weak front court and lost Johnson and Olynyk.

I will bet my 12 year account that the Raptors finish ahead of the Celtics in the 2017-2018 regular season standings

Somewhere in LA, Demar Derozan just smiled for no apparent reason.

Their front court is decent when all you've got to do is get by one of the Raptors+Wiz or Bucks. Horford > Ibaka, Gortat, and Mr.Maker for now.

Tatum and Brown will play more small 4 which is advantageous from a development stand point. Raptor fans aren't used to that I know.

That's a nice trade for both sides tbh... And now Pistons get better too while Raptors force feed a bull storyline down our throats.

Bradley > Morris > CoJo

It's not Masai's fault that Boston is pawning off Bradley to fit in Hayward.
