I like Gudaitis' mobility. And he doesn't have any less strength than JV. Better genes I suppose.

Short hands tho, at least how it looks visualy.

Fournier is carving them up to start the second half.

Have to clean up those backdoor cuts defensively.

The difference between France and LT guard floor vision and passing is mindbogling. Did LT basketball schools forget how to teach passing?

See JV still has issues reading the floor in a short roll situation. Misses swing to corner. priority gotta be catch-survey floor, then look to rim. not look to score first

moving feet well in PnR defense when he steps up. problems mostly positioning.

Yeah, he has T rex arms, still a good shotblocker. If he had JV's length, he would be a monster. He is a very strong post defender and is pretty explosive, good pick and roll target.

i didnt see this play (stream isnt great going to watch it later when it will be smooth) but i disagree with logic, any time you catch the ball anywhere close to net you should be looking rim first .... or am i misunderstanding the situation

Dont get me started on Lithuanian point guard school... This generation in general looks weak as hell, will be hard keeping that top 5 FIBA rating.

Seraphin with Sabonis-esque pass. This is getting embarrassing

Heurtel is one of my favorite players. If only Lithuania had someone his caliber at PG.

usually yeah when you catch near the rim you look to score quickly, but this wasn't that close to the rim, moreso between FT line and restricted area.

JV has a tendency in that range to default to habit pumpfake-one dribble-spin for hook. Takes too much time. Weakside defender was out of position cheating, and the corner was open if he had taken a beat to read the floor before immediately going into his rhythm.

I think I am a biggest JV nut hugger, but man he looks so dumb. IDK what to think anymore.

Arnas Velicka will be pretty good. Hopefully he learns to shoot, or stops chucking low% 3PTA

He looks worse by the day. 2016 Play off JV is dead and gone.

wouldn't say he looks any worse, just mostly the same. recurring IQ issues still the same (too scoring oriented/not reading the floor, sitting too far back on defense).

Physically seems to have regained a little bit there so should help a bit defensively when it comes to change of direction/shifting of weight/momentum.

for the Raptors, if he can be a bit quicker/smarter on the defensive end, that's the most important thing. Gotta use these games to look for possible improvements in that
