According to league sources, Toronto has made guard Norman Powell available in trade discussions. The emergence of rookie O.G. Anunoby has made Powell expendable.

He's starting to play like himself. To trade him when his value is lowest wouldn't make sense.
I could see him being dealt in the offseason though.

I agree with you, Powell is expendable if we can take DeAndre, otherwise he stay here.

Norm tunnel vision powell might be needed come playoff time with CJ being injured every week.

I agree with you, Powell is expendable if we can take DeAndre, otherwise he stay here.
I don’t hate Norm but he’s probably a better fit on 15-20 other teams. He will never be a 1, combo guard(on offence) or a 3, would only start at 2 if DD moves to 3, and doesn’t offer enough versatility to be a 6th-8th guy here. I think it would be better for everyone if he moved on. But it’ll have to be later.
