Am I the only one who thinks the Washington Wizards is the only team that could beat the Raptors in 7 game series? compare to Celtics and the Cavs.
Offensive / Defensive rating
Toronto: 4th / 3rd
Washington: 10th/13th
How can we stop the Wizards sweeping the Raptors? or stop Beal from beasting?

ok.....
I mean I hope wizards and bucks keep playing great basketball because higher chance cavs have trouble in first round but I'm no way shape or form sweating over the wizards at all

I really thought this thread was going to be about them Imploding
Definitely wouldn't be surprised if they more or less give away Gortat. It's pretty fun being a Raptor fan right now considering everything that has gone on with the Cavs and Wizards this season.

The Wiz scare me. Beal and Wall are a tough matchup and don't sleep on Porter, Oubre, Gortat or Morris either.
If they end up shipping out Gortat, they'll be a lot less frightening. He sets mean screens and is a lot to handle on the glass, while being a not bad pick'n roll defender.
If they keep their team intact and drop in the standings to face us in the first round, I'm not going to be easily convinced that we're the favourites!

Regional manager Mike Scott would be a classic Raptor playoff killer

"Only" team?! lol no
The second LeBron turns it back on the Cavs can absolutely do so n I wouldn't look past the Celtics either even if I like how we match up stylistically, ask yourself who do you want in big Playoff moments Lowry & DD or the king of clutch, Kyrie Irving?!
But yeah I think the Wiz out of any team just seem to be a terrible match up for us. Wall n Beal make it a battle of duos where Kyle & DD get sucked into iso-ball n inevitably get frustrated, whine n unravel when things don't go their way.

Wiz are scarier than everyone else but they arent that scary. Just because Beal is our papi.

Yeah, physically dominant, skilled scorers are the Raptors weakness.
It’s why they look good against GS and Houston but get ripped by Washington, and OKC.
The teams in the east that are scariest on that front are Washington and Philly with Embiid. Giannis as well, but his lack of shooting makes him less scary.

We could realistically lose to any of the Cavs, Celtics, Bucks, Wizards, or Sixers. I mean, I like our team and would probably favour us against any of those teams (except for the Cavs), but to suggest we're somehow infallible against some or even most is crazy to me. Memory is apparently very short around here. I for one still recall the last four years where our core guys crapped their pants in hte playoffs and were either soundly humiliated against good teams, or almost humiliated against vastly inferior teams (on paper).
How about we just hope for the best and enjoy the ride.

This is our Raptors buddy, you could make a case that we could lose a series to anyone in the top 8. The margin of talent just isn't that great, all it takes is a team with better young talent or an older team with equal talent and a star to get hot and we are out.
This is why many of us want to see Masai make a move to get us out of that log jam of teams that could beat us on any given night. The time is now, you have to be blind not to see it.

Relax, our best player didn't even play the last time they beat us.

Exactly every other team they swing the ball against I feel they take the match up personal and resort to that non sense.

If not for Delon, Wizards would have swept us.
Bebe had a great sequence, too. Unfortunately, it didn't work against the Cavs.
