If Masai targets the starting backcourt as the 2 guys to jettison and try to extract some value, these are realistic deals. I don't agree with others who think Kyle could fetch 10+Fultz+Covington, unless Yak is going also. But if Philly is interested my target would be 10+RoCo. Jerryd is a slightly bad contract and even though it's not a lot by NBA standards, he does kind of suck. If the deal is Bayless+10 I would hope another asset come the way of Toronto. A top 5 pick is likely the best return you could hope for dealing Demar, although it come attached to some mostly dead weight in Parsons. But maybe Doncic and guys like JJJ are enough to entice our GM and president to make the bold move.

 ya’ll dummies if you think trading the best SG in the east is a smart move. First of all WHEN did we have such a loyal player like him. Second he started from the bottom and brought us here. Third he is in his PRIME NOW. He will be a future HOF. And why tf would u wanna trade that away. I know his weaknesses. Guarentee his 3pt% will go up this coming season as it has from previous years. If we trade him, its to rebuild. But he built something here and he has ALOT of friends in this league. He will be the person to attract FA, if he leaves people already know we are not competing and FA will laugh us off.

Imo 76ers aren't using up cap space on Lowry.
They rather use the cap space to sign someone and keep 10th pick.
Or resign jj reddik for another 1 year deal and roll over the cap space.

With the free agents we've attracted with our 5 years of winning culture, i'll take my chances with a Derozan deal to retool.

If we take 9 mil Bayless and five years of Covington I guarantee you they give us number 10 for KL. They end up handing us 3-4 mil of cap space in that transaction.

Masai gave KL three years so it would be tradable.

The Washington Wizards could be on the market for their 15th overall selection, if other teams would be willing to take on some of their expiring contracts, according to Ben Standig of The Sports Capitol.
“The Wizards have five players with expiring contracts, including starters Marcin Gortat and Markieff Morris. Gortat’s $13.56 million salary for the 2018-19 season dwarfs the other expiring deals. The hefty figure counts among the reasons why the 34-year-old center is considered a likely trade piece.”

From the original source referenced in that article:

The Wizards are open to trading down from the 15th overall pick in Thursday’s draft if another team takes on one of Washington’s expiring contracts.

That’s the message relayed from the Wizards to other NBA teams, a league source tells The Sports Capitol.

Hawks say no.
Serge and Norm for Melo + a 1st or two who we then buy out to bring his salary for the season to neutral relative to Serge + Norm. We save a ton of money for next year and then a little for the two years after?

Meh, OKC has no 1st round picks so some seconds and no idea

I'd rather deal Ibaka to Portland for Harkless & Leonard if all we're getting back is cap relief.

Don't think Portland would give up Harkless for Ibaka since Harkless is actually a plus defender.
