Penalties, penalties, penalties. It's so unfair. Sport is interesting, but very unfair.

Incredible game. One of the best if not the best in the tournament so far.

What a terrible ending for us swedes, it made so angry with the Swedish player who gave away cheap free-kick at 95th minute.

Sweden was almost through to the knockout stage with a draw. It broke my heart, depressed me for 24 hours straight.

Is this a joke or you are English fan? Kane is not even seen as top 5 strikers in the world. Let alone anywhere near Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar etc

He has scored 5 goals in WC good but barely any goal in CL, won nothing in career....

I think it’s a fair question, although I am an English and Tottenham fan. He’s the top scorer in the World Cup so far, and he is the top scorer in the Premier League. Not to mention he is a number of years younger than Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar. If he keeps up his play and improves steadily he will go down as great as the others.

He is growing very fast as striker but he needs dominate CL like all top strikers like Aguero, Suarez, Lewandowski, Ronaldo for example.

Right now he is proven only in PL just like Lukaku another young world class striker. Also Kane has scored 1 open play goal in WC , the one Loftus Cheek shot on his foot....

Neymar is 26 years old, Kane 25 so ;)
Even English expert in espn fc channel said he needs to prove more for longer period of time.

There are wingers, midfielders who can claim the throne after Messi.

Bad comparison in Gordon Hayward and Harry Kane, as Hayward has been hurt the entire season and Kane has been dominating the Premiership and is the highest scorer in the World Cup. Also, Ronaldo is no Jordan as MJ is near ubdisputed the greatest in his sport and Ronaldo is not. Cristiano Ronaldo has won a lot in club play but he is no Michael Jordan. Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo (Brazil), and other retired players all content for GOAT.

No need to nitpick the analogy....lol I think buddy is trying to say that your comparison was dumb.

Have you been watching the WC or do you just look at stats? Lol like how can you watch Kane's last game (where he got three goals) and say those were quality goals. Two were penalty shots; the other was literally pure fluke... His teammate took a shot that hit Kane's heel as he was jogging across the pitch lol

Now you're comparing him to Ronaldo because they both had a hat trick this WC??? Lol please, troll somewhere else bro

I wouldn't say MJ is undisputed anymore. LeBron is certainly up there. Obviously for nostalgia reasons people keep saying it's MJ hands down, but if you look at all the data at hand, it's definitely a legitimate discussion.

People really think Kane is the best player in the WC? The guy scored his goals from penalty kicks and even had one deflect off him for a goal lol. Ronaldo is and has been the best player in the WC. Modric and De Bruyne are up there too.

I agree with you Messi is the fotbolls Michael Jordan, the only current player to be seen as maybe the Goat. Ronaldo is as best Durant. He has always been second best player and never seen as Messi level.

Goat in football is between Pele, Maradona,Real Ronaldo nr9, Messi. They are Jordan/Kareem/Wilt. In Football there is 2-4 Jordan and no clear 1 GOAT like in basketball.

Exactly he has scored two penalties, two corner kicks goals and suddenly he is the greatest striker. Lukaku has scored fox in the box goals two games in a row in comparison. No penalties.
