I respect the hell outta of him as a person, but his lack of 3+D in today's game just doesn't cut it as the #1 option for this team.

Wish him nothing but the best, both on and off the court.

Good dude, but the most overrated player in Raptor's history. It's time to move on...

Lmao 3+d players are role players. How many number one options on 50 win teams are good defenders?

Especially in today’s game where all the rules favour offense.

Okay, how many true #1 option star players that can lead you to a Finals appearance are both below average at defending and shooting 3's?

I'll wait for the list...

Uh, most are. Or they can at least shoot the 3. Today's game might favour offense but it does not favour Derozan's offense. Case in point, the playoffs every year.

I'm actually kinda emotional now. I was done with him but it's still kinda sad and surreal to see him gone. Best of luck to the guy. This guy is a Raptor through and through. Jersey retirement for sure.

I don't know if this trade complete or not
but with all the rumors around
it's not like Demar will stay long-term anymore

The greatest era in franchise history is over. Sad to see it end like this.

When he was a free agent, he didn't even take another meeting. Never forget.

He was the only guy who said he wanted to be here that followed through with his words.

Tickets for my whole family so we can give him the standing ovation he deserves. Will be one of my favorite Raptors for a very long time. Loved seeing him add new talents every year & loved how he repped Toronto.

He was a pro from day one.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.
