A bit OT but in this last stretch of this unbearably long off-season, with his presser being suddenly cancelled, I figured maybe we could try to understand him a bit more....

Everyone's is different and I don't know him personally but being a 27-year-old grown man who NEEDS their uncle to passively-aggressively speak on their behalf is pretty darn pathetic.

On the other hand, I recognize that it may be a mental health or psychological condition..(selective mutism? social phobia?)...But if thats the case...it would seem unlikely that he would be able to manhandle the competition and flourish in the hyper-competitive and ruthless NBA environment.

Now this is all irrelevant if he can ball out, but the thought of him continuing to be a 2-faced passive-aggressive little punk to us fans, really irks me.

Not sure what the deal is with him or if he suffers from any of those things but if he does why the **** would you wanna go to LA the media will be intense and the team will be a crap compared to Toronto if they can't get another max player to join them.

That's just how he is. Not everyone expresses themselves the same way. Just accept that's how he is and be over it. If you access to the Athletic, Eric Koreen did a great piece on Kawhi as a person.

The better question is, why do you care so much about what he has to say?

He's a basketball player, not an analyst or socialite, all that should concern you is what he does on the court. He owes you nothing. If you really need some sort of verbal confirmation that he loves it here, or that he intends to stay, or whatever it is that you guys seem to be waiting for, then it really says more about you than Kawhi now doesn't it?

Why is Embiid so loud and a big troll....everyone is different. Apparently Embiid is also a introvert, he just stay in and plays video games....but Kawhi is on the extremely reserved side, and that's fine, he's here to play ball.

This reeks of the ESPN nonsense about how every elite athlete "must" sell a brand and be extroverted (maybe because it gives them something to talk about? No business interests there at all), and typical Raptors fanbase insecurity and whining.

Just stop. Lol. Go enjoy the rest of summer and then get ready to be snowed-in by the start of the season.
