JV is actually an above average defender... These guys aren’t all the same.

Kanter has terrible length, vertical, foot speed and doesn’t care/know how to contest shots at the rim. JV is vastly better than him in all these aspects.

Preach it brother.

Or does it make him even more furious at Masai for trading him? lol

Imho the real reason he raged when we traded him

He knew his days as an all star were over

That's ridiculous.

Fun fact: JV wasn’t the only Jonas on the team. Serge Jonas Ibaka Ngobila.

Why though? If Kawhi leaves the team should clear out assets like Gasol/Ibaka/Lowry and retool. Ross would be an ok add if Kawhi decided to stay.

lets take a minute to appreciate what the greatest most successful raptors coach of all time, Dwayne Casey did for our franchise. His glory is underappreciated. Also can't wait tomorrow to see if Demar will receive standing ovation. I predict his eyes will be balling hard.

I wasent, IIRC the rumour was that Jeff Van Gundy was interested in Coaching the Raptors and then Colangelo went with Casey. I had alot of respect for JVG at the time, so I was pissed.

I'm liking how Jonas is covering the pnr so much better with Memphis than here. He needs to work on timing, but it's a start.

Delon should've requested a trade awhile ago, he was buried and you miss out on games like today where his impact has been phenomenal.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

JV is having a great game on both sides of the court. His passing needs a lot of work but he looks so empowered out there.

JV with 25 and 11 on 58% shooting, 1/1 from 3 and 2 blocks.

Player of the game.
