Next person to blame our team for Kawhi leaving in the future should be banned. Blaming our fans is something really special too. It is too funny!

The team around him is reminiscent of the team Lebron had around him in Cleveland. This roster could very likely end up being the reason he leaves.

Who needs a reason if he leaves he leaves. We knew the risks. Every time we are on a winning streak we think he has no choice but to be on one of the better teams, praying and begging it's us. And every time we lose? Oh he is so outta here for competitive reasons. Man if you really don't like this team there are 29 others. Our last two losses one was in OT and the other by a few points. Let's stop crying until we really get blown out like the Bulls by 56 points...

Wait, who said people don't like the team? Of course we knew the risks, but if his reason for leaving is because of Lowry playing like a bum ass scrub, then we should be disappointed/upset.

Relax.

At least give it until the all star break before crying to trade every guy on the roster.

Our second best player is averaging 5 PPG on 19% shooting since November 29th.

Our team is shooting 34% from 3 this season, good enough for 21st in the NBA.

These aren't problems we can gloss over. We have a good record because our defence is elite and Kawhi is a monster. But you aren't making a deep playoff run with just one scorer and no outside shooting.

We lost 3 games by a combined 7 points, while playing poorly. As you wrote, our All-Star PG has been particularly poor during this stretch.

I would view those as good signs rather than concerning ones.

We have yet to put a stretch together that looks like Raptors peak level and we're 21-7. Only two of the losses were lopsided losses.

Stop overreacting.

Let's call it what it is.

Our fans are great. Amazing actually.

But a minority group of increasingly predictable overreacting nuts flock to the internet simply to hate on the team. It's not a reflection of our fanbase and its becoming insufferable.

I feel like some Raptor fans need to dial back their expectations. No, we aren't going to win every game. Yes, we will have a few losing streaks here and there. No, we aren't going to blow out teams every night. Feel like some fans here thinks we are playing NBA 2k19 on easy mode or something...

Honestly, I think people would be less on edge if we knew some stuff about Kawhi. We are finding it hard to commit to our team and maybe we feel twitchy about everything. Also, Kyle playing super-passive and scoring zero is not helpful

Raps fans are definitley unbearable following any loss.

Heck some of them would start multiple, negative threads in the middle of an 82-0 season.

I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

it is pretty funny. Go to any raps or leafs site on the interwebs, and it's all negative right now, even while both are the best rosters for their franchise in living memory.

This is technically the most talented Raptor team ever. But I have noticed their is a new level of toxicity this season towards this team for some reason. Game Days are unbearable. Did people really lose themselves because of Casey and Demar leaving or what? But the response from the general fan base has been negative and terrible. Would not be surprised if Kawhi felt this bad juju and is thinking twice.

Well we actually had a thread here a few days ago about why the regular season doesn’t matter, but we should be panicking about why we are losing regular season games.

Everyone knows the 73-9 Dubs lost. 82-0 means nothing.

True. Somebody needs to tell these guys it’s December and to save their anger for April-May-June when we start playing the games that matter.

This is the mentality that led to 3 straight years of playoff failure, and will lead to the same again this year.

No actually, it's not. Hate to break it to you, but the feelings of the people on this forum have contributed absolutely nothing to the Raptors' successes or failures over the past 3 years. The OP is very clearly talking about the knee jerk reactions of fans on this forum after every single game that make this forum practically unbearable to read. Frankly if those reactions had control over the direction and management of this team, I am confident we would be bottom 3 in the league every year.

If you actually believe that Raptors management isn't analyzing every detail of these losses and considering ways to address our issues both in-house and otherwise, you are out to lunch. And finally, lets just completely disregard that this team fired it's head coach after coming off a COY season and traded Derozan for Leonard, two moves that were nearly universally thrashed in the media and NBA at the time and have ultimately led to the best record in the NBA. But yea, you're right... the Raptors just keep accepting more of the same and are afraid of change after 3 years of playoff failure. Glad you could provide such valuable insight.

WE GOT 7 FREE THROWS VS 20 AT HOME AND WE'RE THE BEST TEAM IN THE NBA WITH AN MVP CANDIDATE WHEN THE **** ARE WE GOING TO GET SOME GOD DAMN RESPECT

p.s. Legit does anyone have access to Elias Sports Bureau or something similar because I really want to see how statistically rare it is for a team leading the NBA in record 25+ games in to only get 7 free throws in a home game. I bet it's a handful of times since 2000.

Sad thing is, after the next loss or two game losing streak, board will go back to posts about trading Lowry for Raymond Felton.
