Nah we used to be the richest province in the country by far and now it’s gone to sh*t. Time for change.

Alberta's economy is tied to oil and gas production and with the global price of oil down there isn't much Kenney can do to start that sector up. Extracting oil from oilsands is only viable when the price of oil is high.

I also wouldn't want a premier that rubs elbows with bigots and white supremacists.

Personally, I like to take the personality out of politics. It's all about policies and platforms. Every politician (left or right) has some negative personal aspects, but some are just better at hiding it than others.
