Wow, what a slimy move to do the test in a dead area smh.

Some mans actually did their test legit by going to Vic Park and Lawrence and dealing with traffic.

No different than the people of Brampton going to Orangeville to do their road test.

Read somewhere that the Brampton driving test has a failure rate of over 50% - and for good reason......

Wouldn't it be easier at Vic Park since you're merging into traffic as opposed to needing to get up to highway speeds then merge?

In other words Doc Oc and I have higher pedigree.

The previous Government was in power in for 40 YEARS. They did not diversify, they did not create sustainability (by refining within Alberta, to make them less dependent on the US) and they squandered the Heritage fund like drunken sailors who just arrived at port with their pay cheque. Norway, a similar sized Oil & gas economy have a fund and they grew their rainy day fund to 1 trillion, unlike the Alberta PC's who squandered it.

Geddy is right, AB economy is directly tied to the price of oil. It has to hit a fairly high threshold for it to be profitable to extract and export it for the lousy price the US pays for it. If they had other customers to sell to, they wouldn't have to settle to appease their only customer.
But yeah, this is solely the fault of the government who had the reins for the last 4 years. They actually are huge proponents of refining locally, which is a great idea that won't solely solve the current problem. But if previous governments had the foresight and vision to do this long ago, Alberta would not be in the position it is today.

And if Albertans think Jason Kenny of all people are going to solve all of their problems... then they are in bumpy ride.
The only way the economy turns around is if OPEC raises the price of oil and that will not be Kenny's doing.
