Raptors fans endlessly blamed the Raptors Organization and Casey for James Johnson not being very good. Well this is what it takes, this is the level you have to go to, to get James Johnson to be an average player. Pretty safe to say he never took it seriously here.

Erik Spoelstra praised Johnson just one day ago.

"He’s been very serious about his work this summer," Spoelstra said. "You can see it in our conditioning day. He did a great job with that. He’s a unique two-way player in his ability to guard one through five when he's healthy and facilitate and make other players better from a hybrid frontcourt position is unique. He's coming in healthy."

Did the salary saved really make that much difference to the bottom line?

Maybe, dumping Bruno allowed us to avoid tax that season, and then we went into the tax for the first time last season and got a Championship out of it. Who knows, maybe if the Grizz cut him (he is partial contract I believe) we can always bring him back

Based on that highlight package, he looks better than a couple players we gave guaranteed contracts to.

He would start for us at the 3, and be the perfect complement to pascal, sadly....

I bet Bruno wanted out so he could get some minutes. He's looking good though agreed.

Some games he's looked awful, but they're experimenting with him seeing if he can be the backup 5. It hasn't worked out at all, he doesn't have the bruiser mentality required from a center, but he's looked a lot better again when they slide him to the 4.

I'd much rather have him than Stanley Johnson and Rondae Hollis Jefferson.

We went from Kawhi Leonard to dreaming about Bruno Caboclo.

The first 3 mins are so disjointed, bodies hitting the floor, people jawing at one another, players not starting plays in the right places...

I know!! They don't look that good at all. Lakers look way more polished, that team lacks facilitators. Lakers have Rondo, Lebron and I guess Caruso. Portland, GSW, Houston, Denver, Utah all have good backcourts. They will look messed up to start the season.
Ska needs to make a comeback.

Kawhi 5/19 vs Dallas in Vancouver, clippers looking shaky so far.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

It's preseason.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.
