Jak had 15 RB + 5 BLK including huge block on Harden followed by lead pass to Derozan for easy 2. Derozan with crucial charge in the last second of 2OT -> Spurs win

JV, finally somewhat healthy, in the three games before Ja Morant's return: 28.0/15.3/2.0/1.3/1.7
JV in the five games since Ja Morant's return: 8.6/8.6/1.8/0.2/0.6

Memphis should trade him.

Would luhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh to see Yakub Purrtl back on this edition of the Raps.

Pop ain't really playing Yakub Purrtl much run this season. Still loves playing bumbuttocks Trey Lyles and Adriddge at center.

That who YOnas is.
Not much of a surprise here. Kind of surprised it took Memphis this long to figure this out.

I really thought that JV would excel in Memphis. He had some impressive games last year after the trade. Sad that it's not really working out for him over there.

different coach plus team focus more on developing Morant.

Funny enough Jonas is having his best year yet (as far as boxscore numbers goes), yet the deficiencies in his defense remains a problem.

I really wished DeRozan and JV were much better than they were, but they weren't just good enough and served as placeholders till we found players that were (and we did). Dwane Casey on the other hand can sit on a cactus.

Jonas killing Baynes tonight. Gone for 20/3/4 and a steal at the half on 8/9 shooting. I see that he has also hit 3/4 3s. I wonder if they trade him. I know they signed him but I don't think he is in their long term plans.

JV was unwatchable to start the season but he's really turned it on as the season is going, in true JV fashion.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Nice game from DD with 24 PTS, 7 AST, 3 REBS with 2:34 left in the 4th! Spurs winning 120 - Bucks 103 @ AT&T Center.

I don't need to read this thread to know most of it will be JV related. Man has some serious fan boys still roaming around this board.

I was looking forward to this nights Memphis game, and just realized this - Memphis actually has better record than Minnesota, how sad is that?
