I watched some of the 1st quarter of that game. I noted 3 times Embiid had the ball on offense against Jonas. Jonas' D led to 2 turnovers by Embiid. The other time Embiid stepped out to the arc and hit a 3.
Looking at the boxscore though it looks like Jonas outplayed him overall too.

Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Re: Former Raptor discussion thread 2.0
food for thought...
kawhi wanted to go home to play.
nba is in a bubble now in orlando. good chance there's a bubble next year too.
so kawhi may not be playing at home for the length of his clippers deal.

I always knew it was a missed opportunity to sell him on an incoming pandemic.

Prototypical, but yes. I'll always remember our game against the fully-stocked Dubs at the Oracle in his rookie year, when Jak was the best player ON THE FLOOR. FOR BOTH TEAMS. On the play that cost us the game, Jak was well defending Durant one-on-one with the ball, but another Raptor stupidly and unnecessarily came off Steph to help, and of course Durant passed it to the open Steph who hit the dagger. Argh!
I've seen Jak shoot 3s, I think in some of his European games. He's got all the makings of a future Marc Gasol.

I am a huge Jak fan but he got religiously schooled by Joel Embiid in the Philly game.

Yakub held his own, but JoJo definitely got the benefit of the doubt from the officials on a few calls. Either way, Yakub is a foul waiting to happen at all times.
Love what Yakub is doing when he is on the floor and not (yet) in foul trouble. Brings a nice mobile dimension to the Spurs, while still bringing the traditional big man traits.

in 3 restart games - all Memphis losses - Jonas is averaging 16/13/2/2 but you can tell that he doesn't really have the confidence of the team. just doesn't seem like the young guys see him as a difference maker. or the coach for that matter. maybe one day he'll be on a team that actually wants him to lead them to playoff wins.

Spurs do not look athletic.
