They were toying with them. The Blazers:

Game 2 -> up 17 -> lost.
Game 3 -> up 18 -> lost.
Game 4 -> up 17 -> lost.

At least they can look for Nurkic to re-join the team for next season.

I haven't read 1 comment about firing their head coach, how can 1 team can lose after leading by double digits in 3 consecutive games that also without KD...unacceptable - meanwhile in raptor land, ppl want to fire the coach because he plays a player too much....Portland made the WCF after 19 years, so guys raptors fans need to remember that how difficult it is to reach this level..

Stotts' team already made it further than they expected and they have a huge injury excuse in Nurkic. Who thought without Nurkic they would beat the teams they have? Not many. I don't like Stotts too much tbh. He has a lot of the same flaws Casey has and I truly hated watching Casey from a strategic level both short and long term.

I don't want anyone fired but the Nurse-FVV thing is plain weird and has been an OBVIOUS issue all season with unwarranted favoritism. It's an incredibly dumb thing for Nurse to favor a player of FVV's caliber the way he has. Anyways talking about Stotts:

My guess next season if the blazers don’t make it back to WCF, & win games; he will be shown the door as he won’t have any reason if he has a healthy roster

I don't know where else to put this, but it's great. It's so funny watching guys like Chauncey and Jalen in complete disbelief at his idiocy.

West is so tough. Lakers and Clippers could get an all star or even all nba player. Dallas should be better. Pelicans might improve. I would be more surprised if they made it back than if they missed playoffs altogether.

Even funnier is Pierce called the Raps in 6 initially although it did look like he just wanted to be the contrarian since the other guys were picking the Bucks. And then Milwaukee goes up 2-0 and he pulls a complete 180 and says Milwaukee has got this. What a dumbass.

I just realized that Brogdon's restricted free agency could mess up the Bucks future. If a team decides to overpay him the Bucks will be forced to match or lose their 2nd best player.

Then you have Middleton and Lopez unrestricted free agency and GIannis supermax extension next summer.

There's no way the Bucks enter next season with all of Middleton, Lopez, Brogdon and Bledsoe unless they're ready to take a HUGE tax bill

So Kendall Jenner has dumped Ben Simmons. I blame the Raptors that that one, ain’t no way she dumping him if he was in the finals.

Today I learned that Brook Lopez made more threes this season than Kobe has in any one season. That's **** nuts.

I think they will try to resign Middleton and Lopez first and then try to sign brogdon. Worse case they have to match but I think they will move bledsoe next year. He seems like a weak on with his shooting. They could get good value for him back. Maybe try to get a shot creator of the bench.

Read on Twitter

Kind of makes sense with the whole Lowry-Conley-Rubio trade rumors at the previous trade deadline.

Utah needs another scoring option or 2. Favors and Rubio seem expendable

PHX is stupid to not sign Rubio and keep the 6th pick. Hell, bring D'Antoni back and bring back the Nash suns!

He also predicted us to beat the Warriors this series and when the Warriors beat us in game 2 he pulled a 180 again and said we were mentally shook with no chance of winning.
