It will change closer to game time, and they are at home, and won by 20+ last time at home. It isn't crazy at all.

I like the energy with our team right now. When everyone contributes to a win we usually carry that energy to the next game. If we had won with Kawhi or Lowry heroics I would have been very scared of next game.

I am gauranteeing a raptors win just because of the right team energy right now. Everyone is locked in. Everyone believes they can contribute to an upset. This is bad omen for The Bucks.

This is why I don't bet on sports. It's just so hard to determine which team has the mental edge from game to game, and basketball is so much about confidence.

If we can keep game close by end of 1st Q, it will be interesting... gotta take it one game at a time.

Now maybe part of this is Kawhi playing hurt, but Vegas thinks the Bucks are quite a bit better (particularly judging by the line for game 4 which was bizarre for a Raptors home game). I just don't know where the evidence of that is. The Raptors have outplayed them in 3/4 games and were basically equivalent to them in the regular season.

Good. I like the underdog role for this team.

Imagine if the Raps actually pull off this upset win on the road and come back home for gm6.

Teams don't lose in double overtime and pull it out very often.

Vegas knows this, they are just trying to make money.

Betting on anything by nature is a gamble, basketball/sports is no different.

I think it’s just a case of “the more you know, the more
You realize you don’t know” for you.

I’m usually quick to make small bets for boxing and UFC because I don’t know anything about the sport, I just want to wager some money, but my friends that follows the sport religiously won’t make a wager with me regardless of which side I let them pick. Turn the table, and unless I’m betting with my heart, if you tell me to try to make wagers on basketball to try to win a bet and I’ll be in the exact same position as you.

Bucks are at home. They should be favored. I personally think we split the next two and the series goes 7, but the betting favorite is meaningless.

The Bucks had a top 10-ish point differential all time at one point this season I believe before cooling off a bit second half (they finished 23rd) and dominated the first two rounds. So just statistically I am not surprised they would rate so well.

They were fwvourtes for this game too and we destroyed them.

That being said betting aside, In alrwsdy worried about reffing and hca. Imagine, Lowry got fouled out at home in game 3. Refs were trying to end the seiies then. I wouldn't be surprised if one of lowry or Gasol gets into early foul trouble to start, and the bucks are in the bonus early.

Bucks need to make drastic adjustments to get Giannis free and get their offense flowing. The problem is that they've been playing the same way since Game 1, so for them to make drastic changes now can easily cost them Game 5. They'll be adjusting to playing in a way they may not have played all year, which could result in a lot of turnovers.

Raptors may have Giannis figured out defensively. And for Giannis to be the beast that he is, they'll have to do something to get him back to the way he was playing before.

Changing how Giannis plays to get him more free could be a hazard to the rest of their offense.

And one thing I"ve noticed about Nurse, is that when he makes adjustments, we haven't really seen the team making huge mistakes and costing ourselves through strategy. We've been getting open looks all playoffs, and just haven't been hitting our shots. But if we have turned that corner and are on some kind of hot streak, Milwaukee might not be able to adjust to us sufficiently enough.

Ibaka is playing with a lot of confidence. Norm is playing with extreme confidence (and looking like the player we all hoped he'd be a couple years ago). And FVV might have beat Dr. Evil to re-find his mojo. Lowry has been playing at a high level for nearly the entire series. And Siakam is back to leaking and finding lanes. And Kawhi is still scoring at will and able to penetrate in a way that he can get calls. Even Gasol is being more aggressive on offense.

If the bottom half of our roster has turned the corner, then it's possible we may have Milwaukee right where we want them.

I mean, Bud could make adjustments. But he can also (maybe justifiably) go with what's worked until now. In which case, we can beat them.

All the pressure is on Milwaukee.

It will either be us getting blown out or a G4 @ Philly grind fest win by a couple points

I'm not going to put my money where my mouth is, but getting the Raps at +240 on the money line is pretty darn good value imo. I suppose the fact that we've been blown out more times than we've competed on the road these playoffs (sans Magic series) would be a reasonable counterpoint, however.
