if those rico hines runs are anything to go by then thats not saying much. Thomas was being cooked at those

You can't say that about Thomas because Rico style scrimmages wouldn't suit his game. I saw Doncic at a pick up game and he was a beast because he has a Harden like game. However I would assume JJ would be pretty useless in a game like this. Even Middleton.

I understand that but I’m just talking about his defence. Seeing him get cooked by players not in the league isn’t a great look even with the caveat that it’s a glorified pickup game

Oh yeah. On defense he's going to be painful to watch.
Ska needs to make a comeback.

lets be frank, he's not coming here to play at an all star level on defense. need his shooting and passable team defense. individual defense he might be bad but if he's s great team defender, then it would be more palatable for him to play major minutes

he hasn't even gotten into a full Nurse -oriented training camp. lets see what the NBA staff can do for him as they are more realistically focused on him rather than a training camp which focuses on general scrimmages not lesser on team defense.

Just watchin some Pascal highlights and i need to say, the one thing i hope he improves on, and its a small detail, is holding on to the rim after dunking. He comes down way to hard and awkward on his knees. Its nice to be emphatic but not at the cost of a knee...

Agreed. This was one of the things that destroyed Derrick Rose's excellency. Learning how to land properly after being explosive is extremely important as it will save your knees and other parts of your legs from extensive damage over the course of a season. I saw a video recently of Derrick Rose finally learning how to land carefully and it really made me think of what could've been. Hopefully Siakam learns this before *knock on wood* anything bad happens.

Rico posted some of this on his Instagram too and said there should be a full video up so we should get to see some more.
But it's nice to see him using the move he practiced, we probably won't see much of the pull up 3 from him until he gets more comfortable with it throughout the season

I'm somewhat skeptical of these runs, but man, this video is showing that Pascal might just step up to be a top 15 player.

That was extremely good defense, especially with super cool Beas on him.

They put long lengthy guys and smaller guys on Pascal to get steals, and he just roasted them.

Our boy might just take that step.

Pascal gonna beast.. Lowry and Gasol have to play for their next contact and using Him to open the floor will be the biggest/easiest path to career years for all 3 .

Norm and Pascal were standouts but Boucher needs to play. The dude does things that really excite you sometimes. Dude will be so much fun to watch in the open floor
