Canada Announces 29 Man Camp Roster

I was cleaning out some of my son's stuff, he's been out of the house now ten years, and came across a 2001 Team Canada fan card approx. 24 x 30 cm. It is autographed by Rowan Barrett. We went to Wilfrid Laurier Uni. for a warm up game hoping to see Steve Nash, but he was a no show. Where are they holding camp? Would be neat to get his son's name added to the card.

They are using the Raptors OVO Training Facility. They will be at Mattamy (Ryerson) on Aug 7 for the first exhibition game vs Nigeria, tickets already on sale.

This team could potentially be really good but who plays the 3? Does Brooks start? And does Ejim back up? Definitely seems like a huge weak spot on an otherwise robust roster. I’d assume the roster looks something like;

Murray-Barrett
Brooks-Ejim

Thompson-Birch

Stauskus
Lyles
NAW
Clarke
Heslip?

Just slotting names out. I don't think that Clarke cracks the rotation over other 4/5's either. I'd give Boucher some benefit with the familiarity he has with Nick.

Sf is the weak spot so hopefully Brooks is healthy because we will probably just be playing 3 guards with 2 bigs most time

This is a very exciting time for Canada Basketball, the roster looks amazing and the potential in the next 5-10 years with the generation inspired by our championship run is going to be even better
