I am down for bringing Vince back. I feel we have too many unproven guards anyways. Say goodbye to guys like Payne and Miller, send Davis and Hernandez down to the 905. Vince can play back up SF.

First of all, VC can't play SG anymore...he can barely play SF. He's a PF now due to his immobility. He's no longer a wing.

Last year was the perfect opportunity for him. We were thin at forward even before OG went down to injury. He would have picked up some minutes in the Philly and Bucks series when we needed some size. Probably a few minutes in the GSW series as well. Maybe hits a game winner.

A retirement tour now is pretty blah.

Fred needs 30 mpg in a contract year. OG starts, and Stanley needs minutes behind him. Norm, McCaw and the white shooter guy need minutes. We have enough veteran presence - most of the team are champions, ffs. What can Vince impart to them?

And after this whole Kawhi/PG kerfuffle, how can anyone want to bring Vince back?

Bring him back for the PR to other players in the league. He also would be like the 4th best shooter on the team.

All kidding aside, I can see us adding him at the trade/buyout deadline for the playoffs. Wouldn't want him to be a distraction for the whole season, but would be a nice vet voice in the locker room and a good story line. Just dont want him taking minutes away from the young guys and their development.
