It takes off so much pressure off next year. We did it, we're finally on the board :D.

With Kawhi gone it really takes a lot of pressure off the team. We're happy with our first ring, still absorbing it, it's not necessary for us to win another one right off the bat. But we can still see the growth of our guys and maybe see them go on a playoff run of their own. Marc Gasol is a special player even at his age. He took over some of the biggest games of the playoffs and I'm sure he can step up again when we need him. Winning without OG kinda brings a bit of hope that if he's healthy and has kept progressing, we have a special talent that will help dampen the loss of Green and Kawhi. Not the same, I know, but he's a special two way player with a lot of confidence, being around some top professional multi-champion wings could have only rubbed off well on him. Anyways yeah it will be fun watching a lot of team ball this year, I think we can surprise a lot of people and make the ECF if we stay healthy enough and find a gem or two in the guys we signed or FA.

Fun fact: The Raptors playoff run helped increase Canada's GDP for May and is expected to help June's.
Ska needs to make a comeback.

Yep! All these relentlessly negative and ungrateful morons need to find another team to support.

Just watched first trailer for NBA 2K20 Video game and OF COURSE there is not a single play of The Champions! Even Wizards are there?!? Got to be first time ever. Disrespect is real and it’s mind boggling.

I've been re-watching the full games (they're out there if you search). It's amazing how much of a team effort this chip was. Just watched game 3 of the Bucks series and Gasol was the best player on the floor in the first quarter. A couple other broad observations:

Danny's defense was really, really good. His poor shooting shouldn't over-shadow his impact.

Fred was also playing good even when his shot wasn't falling.

This is the crucial difference between previous years dominated by Derozan. When Derozan wasn't scoring he was such a serious liability on the floor. I remember hoping he would be scratched against the Cavs a couple times. There wasn't a single player on this team you can say that about. No liabilities.
