I don't think fans cared about the Grizzlies. They were awful back then. The last game in Vancouver was like a morgue.

Exactly what I thought as soon as I seen those teal uni's. It'll go perfect with my Raptors purple JV jersey. Didn't like the original teal uni's but always loved the tribal trim.

Fans cared. It was brutal. But myself I'm happy it's Memphis. They purged the players moved on and got the Gasol's. Heck, they even had Grizzlies back in the day before the settlers killed them all. Heisley is a dirt bag but that's life; water under the bridge. Second favourite team atm.

I was born too late to become a fan of the team so for me this is just cool to see. Also, the Grizzlies didn't have nearly the same history and fan support that the Sonics did in Seattle so it's an apple to oranges comparison.

Still hoping to see a team back in Seattle soon, Portland being the closest NBA city to Vancouver really sucks.

I cared about the Grizzlies and so did a bunch of others. Hard to gain a mass following when the team had 6 straight losing seasons. I was there live for the last home game against the Rockets and the "FRANCIS SUCKS" chants were incredible. Sad we never had competent management and sad to see the team go.

Imagine if the Raptors never got Vince and kept Jamison instead. The trajectory of the franchise would have been very different than it is today.

I swear the owner at the time bought the Grizzlies for the soul purpose to move the team to Memphis. Pretty sure he's dead now.
